((A video)) About 70 trucks and carriers of the International Coalition enter the east of the Euphrates and ambiguity surrounds the reasons for the entry of this patch of carriers and tank trucks

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a new shipment of reinforcements that the International Coalition brought to the area of the east Euphrates, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; about 70 trucks, tankers and carriers, have entered Al-Hasakah province, coming from Kurdistan Region of Iraq via Al-Waleed Crossing Point, including more than 10 tankers and the rest are carriers that do not carry any vehicles or equipment, where the Syrian Observatory managed to film a video of the tankers, carriers and trucks while they were passing through Al-Hasakah province, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the tankers, carriers and trucks headed to the International Coalition bases in the area of east Euphrates, while it is not known the reasons for bringing this batch whether it was brought to ferry equipment of the American forces as a part of the US withdrawal plan, or to transport equipment of the US and of the International Coalition, within the area of the east of the Euphrates, while the entry of this new batch comes after the entry of former batches after the US decision to withdraw its forces from Syria announced by Donald Trump on the 19th of December 2018, where the SOHR monitored on the 24th of January 2019, that at least 250 trucks of the International Coalition, loaded with weapons, ammunition and logistic equipment, have entered the Syrian territory today, Thursday, where they were distributed to the International Coalition’s bases in Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani), Ayn Al-Arab’s airport, Ayn Issa, Al-Raqqah, Tal Tamr and others in the provinces of Aleppo, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in the same context, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that hundreds of members of the US forces have entered the Syrian territory in the past 24 hours, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 14th of January 2019, that it obtained information from a number of reliable sources that a column of tens of vehicles has entered the Syrian territory in the east of the Euphrates, through the crossing point linking between the area and Kurdistan Region of Iraq and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; a column of 100 vehicles carrying military and logistic equipment entered the area of east Euphrates, coming from Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and headed to the bases of the International Coalition, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 11th of January 2019, that it monitored a column of the International Coalition headed towards areas in the northeastern sector of Aleppo Province, and the northern countryside of al-Raqqah Province, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: a column of about 150 vehicles carrying armored vehicles, military, and logistical equipment was seen heading towards the base of al-Jalbiyyeh in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah city and the airport of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) in Aleppo countryside, coming from al-Hasaka Province, the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the convoy which was heading towards the countryside of Al-Raqqah and Aleppo was carrying equipment for the military forces who were replaced days ago with troops coming from the US bases in Iraq, and these reinforcements came hours after the withdrawal of 10 American vehicles from al-Rmelan base in the northeastern countryside of al-Hasakah towards the Iraqi side, accompanied by teams of mine engineering and 150 members of the US Forces.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 11th of January 2019, that the forces that withdrew during the past 24 hours from the northeastern countryside of al-Hasakah; towards the Iraqi side are US forces consist of 10 machines with teams of mine engineering, accompanied by 150 members, where they withdrew from al-Rmelan military base which includes a landing platform for helicopters, which was one of the first military bases established for the International Coalition on the Syrian territory after its military intervention in Syria on the 23rd of September 2014, and reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that similar withdrawals are expected to take place in the coming days and weeks in the form of small groups, which will withdraw sequentially from several bases and locations of the US Forces east of Euphrates River, the Syrian Observatory also learned that the land on which the American bases were built had been purchased from its former civilian owners for double their values, and the bases were heavily fortified in terms of construction, logistics, and security and other military aspects.

The Coalition has established at least 21 different bases in areas east of Euphrates and in Manbij area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo at the west bank of the river including 6 major bases, these bases are distributed in the area of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), Khrab Ishak, and Manbij in Aleppo Province, and Ein Issa, al-Raqqah, and al-Tabaqa in al-Raqqah Province, al-Shaddadi, al-Hool, Tal Tamr, Tal Baidar and Rmaylan in al-Hasaka Province, and al-Omar oilfield and al-Bahra in the countryside of Deir Ezzor. The major bases include airports for the landing and takeoff of planes, and some of them were built in the form of small bases, also the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the bases are protected continuously through the aerial surveillance of warplanes in the sky area of the base, and through cars roaming the perimeter of the bases as well as fixed checkpoints scattered around the perimeter of these bases and airports, to protect them from any attacks Individually or collectively by the “Islamic State” organization or any other cells that seek to target the area, also the International Coalition through their committees on the ground in the east of Euphrates; are carrying out periodic meetings with the aim of developing institutions located in the east of Euphrates, where these committees provide logistical support, financial support, and equipment for the committees that requests their specific assistance, also these committees supervise the process of managing affairs of many service and administrative parties in an undeclared manner, and provide their contributions in developing the service management and organizing the work of the institutions supervising eastern areas of Euphrates, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of more than thousands of trucks to the SDF-held areas since the beginning of August 2018, and the trucks carried military and logistic equipment, building substances and other materials, the Syrian Observatory monitored operations of the International Coalition during which it managed to transfer tens of its agents of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, who were operating within the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas, where they were recovered through helicopter landings and then they were transported to Coalition headquarters east of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published days ago that tens of trucks entered the area of the east of the Euphrates, within the 3rd batch of military and logistic aid to be delivered to the area of east Euphrates, since the decision of the US president, Donald Tramp, to withdraw the American forces from the east of the Euphrates and from the Syrian territory, and the Syrian Observatory learned that about 150 trucks carrying military vehicles and military and logistic equipment have reached the area of east Euphrates, coming from Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where they headed to the areas where they will be unloaded within the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces, while the SOHR monitored on the 29th of December 2018, the entry of tens of trucks coming from Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to areas in the Syrian interior within the area of the east of the Euphrates, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the recent hours of today, Saturday the 29th of December 2018, witnessed the entry of about 200 trucks loaded with weapons, ammunition and other logistic equipment, to the International Coalition military bases in Al-Raqqah, Manbij and Ayn Issa, and this is the second convoy to be entered the east Euphrates, after the US decision on the 19th of December 2018, to withdraw its forces from the area, and this action is coincided with the talks that are underway among the circles of the American administration about withdrawing the weapons or keeping them in the Syria Democratic Forces’ possession.
