The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that an area in the vicinity of Tlul al-Safa on the administrative border between the provinces of Rif Dimashq and al-Suwaidaa, witnessed during the past 24 hours a clash the second of its kind within 10 days, between gunmen believed to be cells of the “Islamic State” Organization against the regime forces who are deployed in the area, against the background of an attempt to infiltrate by the first mentioned into sites of the last mentioned, which caused the killing of 4 members of the organization and one of whom was beheaded by members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where cells of the Organization are still spread in several areas of Tlul al-Safa, in addition to information about their presence in the rugged areas of al-Karaa area in the northeastern countryside al-Suwaidaa, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 30th of December 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an exchange of fire in Tlul al-Safa in Rif Dimashq desert, near the administrative border with al-Suwaidaa, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, against gunmen believed to be of cells of the “Islamic State” Organization there, amid confirmed information about the killing of the 3 gunmen, who were hidden in Tlul al-Safa, which was controlled by the regime forces recently after the organization disappeared from there just like that, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 18th of November 2018 that people of Al-Suwaidaa province are still wondering about how members of the “Islamic State” organization vanished from Tlul al-Safa area, which is located in Rif Dimashq on the administrative border with Al-Suwaidaa Desert about 50 km away of the base of the International Coalition in al-Tanf area, also this confusion didn’t come from nothing, its came after consecutive reasons and after about 17 weeks since the second half of July 2018, where the decision of al-Aql Sheikhs to keep Al-Suwaidaa province away of the military conflict of the regime, the Russians, and their allies, put the province in a complete confrontation with the Russians and the regime, in ordered to subject it to the decisions of the Russian forces, who run the show in Syria, where the meeting that took place with the aim of sending about 30000 people who passed their mandatory conscription date to serve in the ranks of the regime forces, who were preparing for the military operation of Idlib, and at the same time, they were engaged in a military operation against  the last enclave of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in Yarmouk basin at the western sector of Daraa countryside, which was met with rejection by al-Aql Sheikhs and refused to obey the Russian orders and regime’s directives, through attempts by the last mentioned to put people of the province in a war within other provinces of Syria, with the aim to shake and disrupt the province.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored members of the “Islamic State” organization creating an attempt to show themselves also the lead in the attacks, where they carried out a strongly planned attack against the first line of populated villages in Al-Suwaidaa Desert, where the attack was violent and bloody, it caused the killing of tens of civilians and about 30 others were abducted, also 116 of the gunmen villagers who took up arms to defend themselves and their families from the attack of the organization were killed, in conjunction with attacks by explosive belts in the middles of Al-Suwaidaa city, and the Syrian Observatory monitored at that time the start of a new tragedy for the residents of Al-Suwaidaa and families of the people kidnapped by the Organization, where ISIS carried out the first execution of a 19-year-old boy who was with the abductees, while a lady died in mysterious circumstances, and another woman was executed, while 2 children and a woman died when they were present at the organization and during the extradition process.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 12th of October 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that representatives of the 4th Division led by Maher al-Assad, the brother of the Syrian regime president Bashar al-Assad, had visited Al-Suwaidaa Province, where they met with the sheikhs of the unitarian Druze community, and asked them to push the young men of Al-Suwaidaa province to join the conscription service. Reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that the delegation that visited Al-Suwaidaa promised al-Aql sheikhs that the farthest area in which the conscription would be served will be al-Kiswah area, which is located in the southwestern in the countryside of Dimashq, while the Syrian Observatory learned that one of the security branches of regime’s intelligence told the al-Aql sheikhs that this promise is a bate, in order to push the al-Aql Sheikhs to enroll the young men within Al-Suwaidaa Province, of who have deserted the conscription service, and then the regime will put them in the clash fronts and other areas far more that it promised them.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the number of deserters in Al-Suwaidaa province is about 30000 young people, while this visit coincides with the visit that took place yesterday by Russian delegation to local forces operating in the countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, where the Observatory published yesterday that the Russian forces met with al-Fahd Forces which is one of the forces defected of the forces of Rejal al-Karama Movement, and they are presented in the area of Qanwat and other areas around it, with the mediation of the relations coordinator of the 5th Corps in Al-Suwaidaa, in an attempt to reach a coordination after the security incidents in Al-Suwaidaa city of opening fire on the province building, and in an attempt to form a new concert to protect Al-Suwaidaa province against a new possible attack by the “Islamic State” organization.
