More casualties in Idlib bombings raise to 70, the number of people killed and injured in these successive bombings

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more human casualties due to the bombings which took place on Monday, the 18th of February 2019, in the middle of Idlib city, where it rose to 17, the number of people who were killed and in 2 consecutive bombings in Idlib city, believed to be caused by 2 explosions in al-Qosur area in the middle of Idlib city near al-Jarrah roundabout, where the first explosion took place and after the arrival of ambulances the second IED exploded, and among the casualties there are 4 children, and at least 4 of the casualties are still unknown until now, while the rest of casualties are civilians, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented the rise in number of injured people in the same bombings,  as many of them were transported to Turkey and distributed inside Idlib on several hospitals, where it rose to more than 51, the number of people who were wounded in the bombings, which may raise the death toll, also reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that at least 13 people including a child (including 10 women) and the rest of them are still unidentified; were killed in both bombings, while there are still more than 25 injured people in serious cases which may raise the death toll, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that 2 consecutive explosions were heard in Idlib city, believed to be caused by 2 explosions in al-Qosur area in the middle of Idlib near al-Jarrah roundabout where the first explosion occurred, and after the arrival of ambulances the second IED exploded, injuring more than 30 people with varying severity and confirmed information about the death of some of them affected by their injuries, and reliable sources suggested that the first explosion was caused by an IED explosion in a vehicle planted in a car while the second explosion was caused by a booby-trapped motorcycle targeted the same place, and these bombings come in a continuation for the security chaos in and around Idlib, where the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of Sarmin town east of Idlib, in a local commander of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham while dismantling it, which caused his immediate death, raising to 463 the number of people killed in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, since the 26th of April 2018, the date of starting the security chaos to be escalated in the province, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 122 civilians including 15 children and 9 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 291 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 48 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 15th of February 2019, that a violent explosion was heard in Kafr Oruq village in the northern countryside of Idlib, it was caused by an IED explosion in car of a commander in Ansar al-Islam faction on the outskirts of the village, which caused serious injuries to the leader and confirmed information about his death, this comes in a continuation of the security chaos in areas controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the factions, and the “jihadis” in Idlib province and the surrounding countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 12th of February 2019 that he Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a woman working as a teacher and a child in city Jisr al-Shughur in the western sector of Idlib countryside, where their dead bodies were found in one of the city’s abandoned houses,  after losing contact with them since Monday, in an expansion for the security chaos within Idlib province and the countryside connected with it from the other provinces, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published of the 11th of 2019 that the Syrian Observatory monitored a violent explosion in Ariha city, located within the southern countryside of Idlib, it was caused by the detonation of an IED in a car in the city, which  caused material damage but no information about casualties, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an assassination of a member of in an Islamic legion close to Turkey, which killed him immediately after the shooting which targeted him on  the road between Darat Azza and Turmanin in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, while the Syrian Observatory monitored about 24 hours ago an IED explosion near a checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on the road of Jisr al-Shughur – Mahmbel in the western sector of Idlib countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of February 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more assassinations produced by the ongoing security chaos in Idlib countryside, where the SOHR monitored the assassination of a local commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham after being targeted by unidentified gunmen in front of his house in Bara village in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern sector of Idlib countryside.

And the Syrian Observatory published 48 hours before that, that the body of a fighter from Jaysh al-Nusra of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was found dead by unknown people, he was thrown on the road between al-Mastouma town and Ariha city but no information about the circumstances of his death, also a body of a boy under the age of 18 was found killed near Kaftin Jabal al-Summaq village in the northwestern countryside of Idlib, after being kidnapped about 10 days ago from his home in the village, also a violent explosion was heard yesterday night in Harim area in the northern countryside of Idlib, it turned out to be caused by an IED explosion in a car on the road linking cities of Salqin and Harim in the countryside itself, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of February 2019 that security chaos continues within Idlib Province and its surroundings, producing more bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations which each time cause human casualties, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a heavy explosion in Ma’arrat Mesrin area in the northeastern sector of Idlib countryside, caused by the detonating 2 IEDs planted by unidentified gunmen on the road of Ma’arrat Mesrin – Batbu, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.
