The regime forces escalate the targeting of Putin – Erdogan area and carrying out a new massacre of children and women as the international media is busy with ISIS east of Euphrates

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an escalated ground shelling by the regime forces, targeted areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and areas of Putin – Erdogan agreement, in an exploiting for the preoccupation of international media and world public opinion with the case of the “Islamic State” Organization in the east Euphrates, where the Syrian Observatory monitored ground shelling by the regime forces with heavy missiles targeting areas in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, which caused material damage and injured several people, also the Syrian Observatory monitor shelling by the regime forces targeted areas in Maarrat al-Nu’man city and areas in the village of al-Hawash in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, which caused a massacre in Maarrat al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib, where the massacre killed 6 people including 5 children under the age of eighteen and injured others, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, also the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by the regime forces targeted areas on the outskirts of Saraqib town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and with more casualties it rose to 487 at least, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are 121 civilians including 48 children and 23 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, among them 5 were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 74 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 14 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 82 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.

The Syrian Observatory monitored the start of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them on the 14th of February 2019, starting a significant escalation in the ground shelling on the countryside of Hama and Idlib, in conjunction with the end of the Sochi Summit meeting, which included the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Russian president Vladimir Putin,  and the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, to discuss several issues including Idlib Province, which is under the full control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the escalation was a violent missile shelling targeted many cities, towns, and villages in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama Province, and the eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib Province, which caused many casualties and injuries among civilians and massive destruction of civilian property, as well as a major displacement in villages and towns of the countryside of Hama and Idlib, which were heavily shelled, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the regime forces targeted places in Kabani area in the northeastern countryside of Latakia and other areas in the towns and villages of Tal Waset, Khirbet al-Naqous, al-Mansoura, al-Zaqqum, and Zayzoun power station in the northwestern countryside of Hama, which caused injuries, the regime forces also renewed the shelling targeting areas in al-Khwyn town in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the flight of warplanes believed to Russian over the eastern countryside of Idlib, while areas in al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama and al-Ziyara town in Sahl al-Ghab at the northern countryside of Hama were under renewed shelling by the regime forces, and in the same context, positions of the regime forces in the vicinity of Joureen town in the northwestern countryside of Hama were targeted, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 2 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, which operates in the northern countryside of Hama and southern countryside of Idlib, after targeting a car by the regime forces using guided missile in the outskirts of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area.
