About 20 days after the statement of its General Commander, Jaysh al-Izza faction raises dirt barricades at the International Highway north of Khan Shaykhun threatening the Russian patrols

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Jaysh al-Izza faction which operates in the northern countryside of Hama has raised dirt barricades on the International Highway north of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, in order to prevent the expected passage of Russian patrols in the area in the coming days, where the faction leader had previously threatened to target the Russian Forces if they come to the area, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of April 2019 that Jaysh al-Izza commander stated: “we are lions in war we fear nothing, for the sake of ALLAH we live and die, every Russian member enters the liberated -area- is our target, and everyone who cooperates with them will meet the same fate”, and after the announcement; the headquarters of the faction in al-Sayyad village north of Hama was targeted, in addition to the ground shelling on villages of Hama countryside in general after this declaration.

Back to the continuous violations; the Russian warplanes carried out more raids on al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with new airstrikes on al-Bashiriyya village in al-Jabal al-Wastani, also the regime forces shelled places in Mansoura town west of Aleppo, in addition to the continuation of the rocket shelling on Qal’aat al-Madiq town, al-Hwaiz, and Sharia in Sahl al-Ghab, and the Syrian Observatory published that warplanes carried out a air raid during the afternoon of today on places in al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, while the Syrian Observatory monitored continued violations in areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, where more rocket shells fell on places in al-Suqaylabiyah town, which is controlled by the regime forces in the western countryside of Hama and inhabited Christian citizens, where it rose to more than 18, the number of rocket shells that targeted the town, the factions also targeted places in the villages of al-Rasif and al-Aziziya which are controlled by the regime forces in Hama countryside, also several rocket shells fell on areas in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood controlled by the regime forces in the western part of Aleppo city, while the regime forces targeted al-Taman’aa town in the southern countryside of Idlib, al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, and villages of Jesr Beit al-Ras, Hawijah, and Hwaiz in the northwestern countryside of Hama, which killed a woman in Hwaiz village and wounded other people, also the regime forces shelled places in al-Rashedin area southwest of Aleppo, the regime forces also renewed the shelling and targeted areas in Qal’aat al-Madiq town and al-Karakat village in the northwestern countryside of Hama, while 2 children were injured in bombardment by warplanes on areas in al-Bashiriyya town in the western countryside of Idlib, and with the fall of more casualties, it rises to 742, the number of people who were killed since Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 363 civilians including 115 children and 80 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 30 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 150 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 63 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 229 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Russian warplanes increase the shelling in areas of the Russian – Turkish truce after midnight of yesterday, targeting areas in Sahl al-Ghab in Hama countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 civilians -including a woman- in addition to the injury of at least 10 others with varying wounds, after the Russian warplanes carried out 4 raids on the places of Qal’aat al-Madiq town in the northwestern countryside of Hama, also the Russian warplanes launched 3 air raids on al-Hawash village in the same countryside, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, and in the same context, the regime forces shelled after midnight of yesterday areas in the villages of Hwaiz, Al-Ankawi, Hawijah, and al-Hawash at the northwestern countryside of Hama, and the villages of Lahaya and al-Arba’in at the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, and other places in the abandoned battalion area, al-Khwyn town, and al-Zarzour village in the southeastern countryside of Idlib.
