Months after the last targeting of kind…helicopters drop more than 10 barrel bombs on Hama countryside in conjunction with the heavy raids by the Russian and the regime’s warplanes

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Russian warplanes carried out more raids on areas in Idlib countryside, along with the return of helicopters to target areas in Hama countryside by barrel bombs, 7 month after the last targeting by barrels, where it rose to 5, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on areas in Tremla town in the south-western countryside of Idlib, while the warplanes carried out a raid on areas in the outskirts of Hawija village in Sahl Al-Ghab, as well as other raids on Al-Hbit in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Al-Lataminah north of Hama, the helicopters also dropped at least 6 barrel bombs on areas in Kafr Nabudah town in the north-western countryside of Hama, also a barrel bomb was dropped on an area in Al-Sakhr village north of Hama, and 2 barrels on Arima area in Jabal Shahshabo, and another barrel on Abdin village south of Idlib, accompanied by opening fire of heavy machineguns by the warplanes on areas in Bab Al-Taqah village and the outskirts of Al-Huwayz village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, while the regime forces intensively targeted areas in Al-Habit town in the southern countryside by artillery shells, also areas in Zammar and Jazraya villages in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the village of Qastun in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, were shelled by the regime forces, while the regime forces renewed their shelling on areas in Kafr Zita and Al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, within the demilitarized zone, in the same context, the factions operating in the northern countryside of Hama targeted by rocket shells, areas in Muhradah city in the northern countryside of Hama, which is inhabited mostly by Christian citizens, leaving one person wounded.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that The Russian warplanes returned to fly over both Idlib and Hama countryside causing more killing and destruction, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today morning, a new series of bombardment which targeted places in Idlib countryside, where the warplanes carried out several raids on areas in Qasabiyeh town and its vicinity in the southern countryside of Idlib, and other areas in the outskirts of Tremla town in the south-western countryside of Idlib, without information about casualties, while Kafr Nabudah town which is located in the north-western countryside of Hama, witnessed intensive shelling by about 300 missiles and shells fired by the regime forces on areas in the town from the midnight of Monday- Tuesday and until this morning, in conjunction with opening fire of heavy machineguns by the warplanes on the same areas, which resulted in the death of a citizen and the injury of others, amid a vast displacement movement by the locals from the town to the north, in the same context, the warplanes opened their heavy machineguns yesterday after the midnight, on areas in Deir Sunbul village in Jabal Shashabo in the north-western countryside of Hama and other areas in the outskirts of Al-Hbit town in Abdin village in the southern countryside of Idlib, which resulted in the injury of 4 citizens in Al-Hbit town, the regime forces also targeted by artillery shells yesterday after the midnight, areas in Al-Lataminah town and Al-Arba’in village which are located in the northern countryside of Hama, within the demilitarized zone, and other areas in the villages of  Hawija and Al-Huwayz in the north-western countryside of Hama, and Al-Khwaiyn town and Zarzur village in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, while violent clashes took place yesterday after the midnight, in Al-Mallah areas north of Aleppo between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, against factions operating in the area on the other, also factions operating in the northern countryside of Hama replied and shelled yesterday after the midnight, areas in Salhab town which is under the control of the regime forces in the north-western countryside of Hama, and with the fall of more casualties, the death toll of casualties rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 10th day, to 164 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 29th of April 2019, they are 49 civilians including 12 children and 11 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 4 civilians casualty was killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 28 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 67 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 30th of April 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 531 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 287 civilians including 83 children under the age of eighteen and 68 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 28 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 88 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 54 fighters of the “jihadis” and 156 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 759 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 366 civilians including 115 children and 80 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 31 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 155 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 68 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 238 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening, Monday the 29th of April 2019, that it monitored ongoing aerial and rocket shelling today evening, Monday, within the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and Putin – Erdogan demilitarized zone, while the regime’s warplanes targeted by heavy machineguns, places in Al-Amqiyyah and Jesr Bayt al-Ras villages in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and other places in Al-Hbit town and the outskirts of Nqeir village south of Idlib, while the Russian helicopters targeted areas in Al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama by missiles, also the regime forces shelled today evening, places in Al-Lataminah and Kafr Nabudah north of Hama, and Al-Zammar and Jazraya in the southern countryside of Aleppo, as well as other places in Qalaat al-Madiq in Sahl Al-Ghab, in the same context, the SOHR learned from a number of reliable sources that the Russian forces have brought military and engineering vehicles in addition to logistic reinforcements to farm lands south-west of Hayalin village in the western countryside of Hama, where they have bulldozed the area and set up tents there, the Syrian Observatory also learned that the regime forces have brought large and new military reinforcements of vehicles and soldiers towards their areas in Hama countryside near the countryside of Idlib.
