Mystery surrounds the killing of a US soldier in the countryside of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) amid accusations against Turkey of targeting him

information about casualties until the moment, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket shelling for the second consecutive day by the Turkish Forces targeted areas of deployment of the Kurdish Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after violent and intensive shelling carried out yesterday following the killing of a one of their soldier, where the Syrian Observatory published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Turkish forces are continuing their heavy and violent shelling on the areas where the Kurdish forces are deployed in several areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, in retaliation for the killing of a Turkish soldier after the Kurdish forces targeted a Turkish armored vehicle by a guided missile near Al-Shatt checkpoint in the vicinity of Afrin, raising to 89, the number of casualties of the Turkish forces’ soldiers who have been killed since the start of the Turkish military operation in Afrin area in the north-western countryside of Aleppo on the 20th of January 2018, and the SOHR published hours ago, that it monitored exchange of violent and heavy shelling in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the Turkish forces and factions loyal to them, against the Kurdish forces which are deployed in the area, where the Kurdish forces targeted by rocket shells, the Turkish base which is located in the western outskirts of Azaz city, which resulted in the fall of injuries in the ranks of the Turks, also the positions of deployment of the Kurdish forces were subjected to violent and heavy shelling by the Turkish artillery, in conjunction with violent clashes between the both parties in Al-Jatt point on the road between the cities of Azaz and Afrin in the northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo, where Azaz – Afrin road was closed due to the ongoing clashes, and the Syrian Observatory published today morning that it monitored violent clashes after the midnight of Monday – Tuesday the 30th of April 2019, in Kafr Khasher area in the northern sector of Aleppo, between the Kurdish forces which are deployed in the area, against factions operating under the banner of the Operation “Euphrates Shield”, accompanied by exchange of shelling between the both parties, and the SOHR published that it monitored violent clashes in the early morning hours of the 25th of April 2019, in areas in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, between factions of the “Euphrates Shield” operation loyal to Turkey against the Kurdish forces deployed in the area, where the clashes are concentrated in al-Daghlabash area which belongs to al-Bab area after an infiltration attempt by the Kurdish Forces, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting which caused casualties, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4 fighters of the factions during the clashes in addition to the injury of others, amid confirmed information about casualties among Kurdish Forces, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of April 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored rocket shelling by the Turkish forces targeting positions of factions operating under the banner of the Syria Democratic forces in Menagh Military Airbase in the northern countryside of Aleppo, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Friday, that targeting by heavy and medium machineguns continued on Al-Malikiyah area in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, between the factions loyal to Turkey on one hand, and the Turkish forces which are deployed in the area on the other, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information about the death and injury of a number of Turkish forces due to targeting to their tank by the Kurdish forces by a guided missile in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored rocket shelling carried out by the Turkish Forces, targeted areas controlled by the Kurdish Forces in the vicinity of Mrimin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no information about casualties, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Kurdish Forces who are deployed in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside; targeted a tank of the Turkish Forces by a guided missile which destroyed it, but no confirmed information yet about casualties in the ranks of the Turkish Forces, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes took place today, Thursday, in the area of Al-Ghun west of Manbij city in the north-eastern sector of Aleppo countryside, between the pro-Turkish factions of “Euphrates Shield” on one hand, against Manbij Military Council which operates under the banner of the Syria Democratic Forces on the other, accompanied by exchange of targeting, without information about casualties so far, and the SOHR published on the 16th of April 2019, that it monitored violent clashes and targeting after the midnight of Monday – Tuesday, between the pro-Turkey factions of “Euphrates Shield”, against the militiamen who are present in the areas where the regime forces and the Kurdish forces are spread, in places in the areas of Mare’ and Jibrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo accompanied by exchange of shelling between the both parties, and no information was reported about casualties until now, while the SOHR published yesterday, Monday, that the controlled areas of the Turkish-backed operations of “Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch” in Aleppo countryside, are witnessing a state of mobilization and alertness, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that several military columns including vehicles and soldiers of the pro-Turkish factions were seen in Afrin city,  heading to the controlled areas of the factions in the vicinity of Tal Rifaat area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, in the time when Afrin city is witnessing a security alertness by the factions of the “Olive Branch”, and the SOHR published hours ago, that reliable sources denied to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights the Russian withdrawal from the vicinity of Tal Rifaat area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the Russian forces are working to find a military representation for them in the northern and northeastern countryside of Aleppo area, and they did not withdraw from the area but the decreased their heavy weapons in the area itself, after tensions and disagreements between the Russians and between the regime and Iran, and this came after forces from the regime responded to the Turkish shelling of Tal Rifaat area and its surroundings of the villages and areas of al-Malkiyyeh and Shawargha and their surroundings in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and several of these shells landed on areas near the Russian bases operating in the north of Aleppo, which was considered a serious threat by them for the Russian forces, especially after what the area had witnessed of mobilization by the regime forces by bringing more heavy weaponry to the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that some Russian points were merged with the regime forces, especially members of the “Tiger Forces” of the Brigadier Suhail al-Hasan who is close to Russia and supported by it, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Russian Forces in the last 72 hours carried out patrols in Tal Rifaat area; confirming their presence in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the speculation around the Putin – Erdogan agreement on the fate of Tal Rifaat city, which provides for handing over the city in exchange for areas in Idlib, which is considered dangerous and seriously threatening Aleppo city by Iran and some parties of the regime and the Kurdish forces in the area, in addition to the towns of Nubl and Zahra and areas of control of the latter north of Aleppo, while none of the parties working in the area provided any guarantees not to target the Turkish military vehicles if Russia and Turkey run joint patrols in the area similar to what happened in Idlib area, and the Syrian Observatory recorded a video showing positions of the Russian Forces in the northern and northeastern countryside of Aleppo, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the base of the “al-Faisal Mill” in Kasht’aar represents one of the main bases of the Russians, which continues to maintain its tasks in coordinating with the regime forces and the Kurdish Forces deployed in the area, and other than that point; there are points for the Russians in the villages of al-Wahshiyyeh and Deir Jamal in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and al-Nirabiyyah village in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, but there are no longer points of presence of the Russian Forces who withdrew from it on the 28th of March 2018, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the presence of are at least 30000 people of Afrin city’s people who displaced from their areas after the Turkish war in the area, in addition to the presence of at least 150000 others in villages of the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published days ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes after midnight of yesterday, between factions of “Euphrates Shield” loyal to Turkey against the gunmen who are in areas of deployment of the Kurdish Forces and the regime forces, in Sheikh Issa area west of Marea town and the vicinity of Kaljibrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where the area witnessed exchange of shelling between both parties in addition to the use of heavy weapons in the clashes, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 10th of April 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes after midnight of yesterday in Kafrkalbin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the Turkey-loyal factions of “Euphrates Shield” against gunmen in areas of the Kurdish Forces and the regime forces, accompanied by exchange of targeting but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 8th of April 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that clashes took place afternoon of today, the 8th of April 2019, between Manbij Military council of the Syria Democratic Force against the Turkey-supported factions of “Euphrates Shield,” in al-Bwayhij Oleshli between al-Bab and Manbij areas at the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, accompanied by exchange of targeting using heavy machine guns, but no information yet about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published on the first of April 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that an intense missile shelling targeted members of the Turkey-loyal rebel factions of the “Euphrates Shield” Operations, in Twis village in the western countryside of al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, which killed a member and injured others due to this targeting, where the rebel factions operating in the area said that its source was the Kurdish forces deployed in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 31st of March 2019 that heavy ground shelling by the Turkish forces is still continuing on the areas where the Kurdish forces are deployed in both northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo, within the areas adjacent the controlled areas of the Turkish forces and their allied forces of the Operation “Olive Branch” of Syrian rebel and Islamic factions, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Turkish forces have targeted by more than 140 shells, places in the villages of Tatmarsh and Shawarghah and its vicinity in addition to places near Maryamin area, which is located in the extension of Sharran Township that is related to Afrin in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory monitored the killing of a soldier in the ranks of the Turkish forces amid confirmed information about the killing of another soldier, as well as the injury of others, due to an explosion targeted one of the centers of the Turkish forces in Maryamin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, raising to 87, the number of soldiers of the Turkish forces who have been killed since the start of the Turkish operation in Afrin area in the north-western countryside of Aleppo on the 20th of January 2018, while the ground shelling caused material damage, within the Turkish campaign of heavy ground shelling few days after movements in the area of the north of Aleppo by the Turkish forces and the factions loyal to them, on the contact lines with the areas where the regime forces and the Kurdish forces are deployed, the shelling also comes after a series of bombings that rocked Afrin city which is under the control of the Turkish forces and the factions of the Operation “Olive Branch”, and the SOHR learned that the bombings were caused by detonating IEDs and landmines in the city by the Turkish forces.

And reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that cells of the Kurdish Forces targeted on Sunday, the 10th of February 2019, a Turkish military force on Jandairis road near al-Talaf military base in Jandairis countryside, raising to 2, the number of military operations that targeted the Turkish forces in the past 48 hours, where a targeting operations was carried out on the 8th of February in Jandairis countryside, and intersected sources confirmed that both operations injured 7 members of the Turkish Forces today and yesterday, and information about the death of one of them affected by critical injuries he had, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 5th of March 2019, that it monitored bombings and targeting carried out by the Turkish forces during the past hours, where they targeted areas starting from Tal Rifaat north of Aleppo to al-Ziyara northwest of Aleppo which are controlled by YPG, and this operation followed two explosions that took place in the last 48 hours, where the first explosion killed a member in Shirawa area in the eastern countryside of Afrin, while the second bombing killed at least 8 of the “Olive Branch” Operation Forces and the pro-Turkish factions, and preliminary information was received that among the casualties there is a Turkish soldier, after killing 85 Turkish soldiers on the Syrian territory since the 20th of January 2018, in Afrin area and its surrounding, where they were killed in operations carried out by cells of the Kurdish Forces and factions in the area.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of February 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed fighting in areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory monitored clashes between the rebel and Islamic factions on one hand, against gunmen deployed in the areas of presence of the Kurdish forces and the pro-regime gunmen on the other, in Kafr Khasher area in Azaz countryside, amid exchange of targeting, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of February and the 30th of January 2019, that it monitored clashes in areas of Mar’anaz, Mare’ countryside and Kafrkhasher in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the gunmen who are the areas of the deployment of the Kurdish forces the regime forces; against the rebel and Islamic factions working in the area, accompanied by more targeting between both parties but no information about casualties yet, and the Syrian Observatory published last Tuesday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed fighting between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the regime forces are deployed, in Kafr Khasher and Maraanaz in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 27th of January 2018, that it monitored clashes between the both parties in the areas of Mar’anaz and Jabrin and in other areas in the countryside of Marea town, in conjunction with the continued shelling between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published at night of the 26th of January 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed combat operations in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where areas in the vicinity of Mare’ town, and contact points in the same countryside, witnessed fighting described as violent between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the pro-regime gunmen are deployed, accompanied by exchange of targeting between the both parties, in areas in Kafr Khasher, Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah, which resulted in the killing and injury of a number of fighters, where the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a fighter of the factions as well as the injury of others with varying severity, the SOHR also monitored shelling by the regime forces on places in Al-Bab area and on other areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of the Turkish forces and the factions loyal to them of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces, amid exchange  of targeting by machineguns between the both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 24th of January 2019, that it monitored the continuation of clashes until after midnight of yesterday in Kafrkhasher area  in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, between gunmen deployed within areas of presence of the Kurdish Forces and the regime’s allies, against the rebel and Islamic factions operating in the area, coincided with the continuation of exchange of targeting between both parties but no information about casualties until now, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed combat operations between the rebel and Islamic factions, against gunmen spread within the areas of presence of the Kurdish forces and the regime’s allies, in places in the vicinity of Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah areas in the northern sector of Aleppo province, and the Syrian Observatory monitored exchange of shelling that accompanied the clashes in the area, but no information about casualties was reported, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that explosions were heard in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, caused by shelling by factions loyal to Turkey which targeted places in Tel Rifaat area, after similar shelling that targeted areas in Mar’e countryside, in the same sector of Aleppo countryside, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, after clashes that renewed last night, Tuesday, for the second time in 48 hours, between the rebel and Islamic factions against gunmen present in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the pro-regime gunmen are deployed, in areas in Kafr Khasher in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, amid targeting in the clash areas, while the sound of an explosion was heard in the northern countryside of Aleppo believed to be caused by targeting to a military vehicle of factions of the operation “Euphrates Shield”, while the Syrian Observatory published 72 hours ago, that a landmine exploded in a car belongs to the Free Police and an Islamic Corps close to Turkey, in Mrimin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which killed 2 members and injured others, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, the 18th of January 2018, that at least one explosion was heard in the outskirts of the controlled areas of the factions of the operation “Olive Branch”, from the north-western side of Aleppo city, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the forces deployed in the area which is under the control of the regime’s allies and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), targeted Kimar area, which killed a fighter of an Islamic Division loyal to Turkey as well as the injury of 5 others with varying severity, and the number of human losses may increase, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that violent explosions were heard in the area between northwest of Aleppo city and Afrin area, intersected sources said that they were caused by artillery shelling targeted places in a village located within areas in which the Kurdish Forces and the gunmen loyal to the regime are spread, where the shells fell on areas in Soghana village, intersected sources said that their source was areas of control of the Turkish Forces and factions of “Olive Branch” Operation, which wounded several people, also the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by the regime forces targeted places in Tal Msibin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo which caused material damage, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 14th of January 2019, that it documented the death of a fighter of a faction of the 3rd Corps, where he died after targeting a vehicle belongs to the faction by a guided missile at Kafr Khasher area in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of this month that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting a vehicle of fighters of the factions operating within the northern countryside of Aleppo; by fighters from Kurdish units in the vicinity of Kaljibrin area, which caused material damage and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of the fighters working in the area, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2 fighters of the factions operating north of Aleppo, during the targeting and the clashes that took place during the last 24 hours in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between gunmen deployed within the controlled areas of the pro-regime gunmen and the Kurdish forces against and the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern country of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory published 72 hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed clashes in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, where clashes took place in the past hours between pro-regime gunmen against the rebel and Islamic factions, in places in the vicinity of Tal Al-Farfurah area, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, amid information about the fall of casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published 4 days ago, that clashes described as violent, took place today evening, Wednesday the 2nd of January 2018, between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions on one hand, against fighters located in the areas where the Kurdish forces and the Pro-regime gunmen are deployed on the other, in places in the vicinity of the areas of Harbal, Sheikh Issa and the southern countryside of Mare’, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, and this fighting comes about 2 weeks after similar fighting took place in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions on one hand, against fighters in the areas where the Pro-regime gunmen and Kurdish forces are deployed on the other, where a member who is not known whether of the Pro-regime gunmen or of the Kurdish forces, was killed at that time.

And the Syrian Observatory published at that time, that it monitored the arrival of military gears heavily armed with heavy and medium weapons and members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where the positions of the regime forces in Tel Rifaat area are located, and it is not known so far whether the regime forces have brought these reinforcements for a specific purpose, or it is just a process of changing shifts of the checkpoints and posts of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the area, and it is noteworthy that the contact areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo are witnessing from time to time, targeting and clashes between the regime forces and their allies against factions operating in the area, the Syrian Observatory published previously that it monitored mobilizations by the regime forces and the Iranian forces and gunmen loyal to them in both northern and north-eastern sectors of Aleppo countryside, where the contact areas with the rebel and Islamic factions which operate in the area and most of which are supported by the Turkish forces, are located, where these mobilizations have started since the beginning of September 2018, through bringing more military reinforcements of tanks, armored vehicles and heavy and medium weapons in addition to fighters, along with the movements of the Syrian opposition of rebel and Islamic factions as well as the Turkish forces’ fortifications to their positions, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the reinforcements that began to arrive in the area since the 2nd of September 2018, of the Iranian forces the regime forces, have reached more than 5000 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab, and Asian nationalities, and tens of vehicles, armored vehicles, and tanks have spread over an areas extending from al-Shahba dam area to the contact lines with Afrin, passing through Om Hosh, Tal Rifaat, Harbel, Ein Daqneh, Menagh airport, Deir Jamal, and the surroundings of Nubl and Zahra, and areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, while areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo witnessed exchange of targeting between the regime forces against the factions in the controlled areas of each of them in the area, and these reinforcements also coincided with the receiving points by Jaysh al-Islam on the contact points with the regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after a consensus with a faction supported by Turkey for Jaysh al-Islam to receive the points, where Jaysh al-Islam restructured itself and reassembled its forces, while the regime forces are carrying out this mobilizations and fortification in Aleppo countryside, fearing an attack that may target their location in case the battle of Idlib was launched, for which they have mobilized more than 2000 military armored vehicle and tens of thousands of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, most of them were brought from fronts that previously witnessed clashes against the “Islamic State” organization or the rebel and Islamic factions.
