In the highest toll of airstrikes within the fiercest shelling ever…more than 275 airstrikes and 950 rocket and artillery shells shower the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce at the end of the 6th day of escalation raising the number of casualties to 12

The death toll is continuing to raise against the backdrop of the aerial and rocket strikes by the Russian and regime’s warplanes and the regime forces’ ground shelling, where it rose to 12, the number of persons who were killed as a result of the aerial and rocket shelling, they are: a man and his daughter who were killed in bombardment by Russian warplanes on Tremla in the south-western countryside of Idlib, a man in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Jisr Al-Shghur countryside, another man in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Al-Hbit town, 2 citizens in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Kafr Nubl, a man in bombardment by Russian warplanes on Orient Hospital in Kafr Nubl, a citizen woman in bombardment by Russian warplanes on areas in Hass town, a fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham who was killed in shelling by the regime forces on Qalaat Al-Madiq, 2 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on areas in Kafr Nabudah town in the north-western countryside of Hama, and a citizen woman who died affected by the injury she had due to bombardment by the warplanes on areas in Basqala town in the outskirts of Jabal Al-Zawiya.

And with regard to the aerial escalation the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored bombardment by helicopters by barrel bombs on areas in Al-Sahriyyeh, Sheikh Mustafa, Al-Naqir, Sheikh Dams, Tal Al-Nar, raising the numbers of barrel bombs that have been dropped since yesterday after midnight until now to 104 barrels, they are: 16 on Kansafra, 16 on Kafrenbudeh town in the northwestern countryside of Hama, 12 on al-Hbit, 8 on areas in al-Naqir village in the southern countryside of Idlib, 8 barrels on Sheikh Mustafa, 8 on Kafr Sajnah, 4 on Sheikh Dams, 4 on Arnabah, 4 on Abdeen and its vicinity, and 2 barrels on each of Kafr Owaid, al-Bana, Tal Al-Nar,Al-Sahriyyeh, Om al-Sir, al-Faqea, Sfuhen, al-Ftirah, al-Naqir, and Karsaa.

In the same context, the regime’s warplanes targeted areas in Ihsim and Hass towns by new raids raising to 25, the number of raids on areas in both Hama and Idlib countryside, they are: 4 raids on Ihsim, 3 raids on Kafrnebbul, 2 raids on each of Ma’arrat Al-Sain, Om Zaytouna, Qassabiyyeh, Midan Ghazal, Al-Hbit, Hass and Tremla, and one raid on each of Maarzita, Kabani, Kansafra and Kafruma, while the number of raids carried out by the Sukhoi 22 and Sukhoi 24 raised to 71, they are 7 on the outskirts al-Hbit, 6 on Ma’aret Hurmah, 6 on Tremla, 6 on Al-Hawash, 5 on Kafrnebbul, 2 raids on each of Abdeen, Hish, outskirts of al-Bara town, Qasbiyyah, and Hersh Binin, Kafr Ayn, al-Kabina, the al-Sermaniyyeh, Dwayr al-Akrad, Al-Naqir, Kafrsajna and Rakaya Sajna, and one raid on Sheikh Mustafa, Arinbeh in Jabal Shashabo, Iblin, outskirts of Maarzita, Hersh Kafruma, and Deir Senbol in Jabal al-Zawiyah.

Also the number of raids by the Russian warplanes rose to 74 since yesterday after midnight and until now, they are: 6 raids on Tremla, 4 raids on each of Sermaniyyeh, Mra’eian, outskirts of Ihsim, Ma’aret Hurmah, Maarzita, Dwayr al-Akrad, al-Naqir, and Sarja), 3 raids on Orient Hospital in Kafr Nubl and two raids on each of Shnan, Kafr Sajna, al-Qarqour, Ftirah, Saraqib, al-Sahriyya, Kabina area, Tremla, Kafr Zita, Al-Hbit and Maraand, and one raid on each of Hass, al-Mozra, Maraat Al-Nu’man, Sahyan Farms, al-Amiqah, al-Hawash, Kafrnebbul, al-Zakat, al-Tamanah, Ghassaniya area, in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur and Sarja.

And about the ground shelling, the SOHR monitored that the regime forces have targeted areas in Kafr Zita, Al-Hbit and Kaf Nabudah towns by 200 rocket shells, raising the number of artillery and rocket shells since yesterday after midnight and until now to about 950 shells, which targeted both Hama and Idlib countryside as well as other areas in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on the first day of the most violent escalation, documented 84 barrel bombs, 12 raids by regime’s warplanes, and 11 raids by Russian warplanes, which killed a citizen man and a citizen woman.

On the second day of the heaviest escalation, the Observatory documented 105 barrel bombs, 6 raids by regime’s warplanes, and 15 raids by Russian warplanes which killed 9 civilians including 3 women.

On the 3rd day of the heaviest escalation, the Observatory documented 171 barrel bomb, 46 raids by Russian warplanes, 7 raids by regime’s warplanes which killed 8 citizens including a woman and two of her children.

On the 4th day of escalation, the Observatory documented 164 barrel bombs, 57 raids by Russian warplanes, and 19 raids by regime warplanes which killed 16 civilian citizens including 5 women and a child.

On the 5th day of the heaviest escalation, the Observatory documented 83 barrel bombs, 50 airstrikes by the Sukhoi warplanes, 67 raids by the Russian warplanes, and 26 raids by regime’s warplanes which killed 11 citizens including 3 women and 3 female.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 87, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 53 civilians including 6 children and 14 citizen women, where 16 of them including 3 child girls and 4 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 16 including 6 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 9 including a woman, a girl and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 10 people including 3 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, while at least 17 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, 3 members of the factions were killed in clashes against the regime forces, in addition to the killing of 12 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 14th day, to 241 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 4th of May 2019, they are 104 civilians including 20 children and 24 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualty was killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, Al-Hader town south of Aleppo, Al-Khandaq village and Al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 35 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 5 of the factions were killed during clashes against the regime force, and 78 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 5th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 616 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 341 civilians including 90 children under the age of eighteen and 82 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 107 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 69 fighters of the “jihadis” and 167 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 846 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 422 civilians including 122 children and 94 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 174 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 82 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 249 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
