Clashes continue violently in Sahl al-Ghab and north Hama, leaving more than 15 casualties since morning, and the Russian and regime’s warplanes renewing their target of the southern countryside of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of a civilian as a result of bombing by regime’s warplanes on places in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and in the same context, it rose to 42, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since this morning on areas in the countryside of Hama and Idlib, and they are: 11 on the outskirts and surroundings of Kafr Nabudah, 10 on al-Hbit, 8 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 7 on Khan Shaykhun, 2 raids on each of al-Rakaya, Sajna, Ma’aret Hurmah, and Kafrsajna, also it rose to 10, the number barrel bombs dropped by the helicopter since morning on al-Hbit town south of Idlib, in addition to 8 barrel bombs targeted the outskirts and vicinity of Kafr Nabudah in the northern countryside of Hama, and 2 barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kafer Ain, and 2 on Tal Aas.

Also it rose to 18, the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes since midnight of yesterday until now, and they are 6 raids on al-Hbit, 6 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 2 raids on each of Sheikh Mustafa, Kabana and the vicinity of Sehyan, in addition to the continuation of ground shelling by the regime forces using rocket and artillery shells targeting al-Hbit, al-Qassabiyyeh, Khan Shaykhun and other places south of Idlib, Sahl al-Ghab, and Jabal Shashabo, amid missile targeting by the factions for regime forces’-controlled areas in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama.

While the clashes continue at a violent pace in several areas in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, between the regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them, against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions, and the violent clashes are concentrated in Kafr Nabudah area in a continuous attack by Tahrir al-Sham to regain control of the town, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the factions re-control Bab al-Taqa village after an exchanging control of it between them and the regime forces several times during the past hours, while the Syrian Observatory documented casualties in the clashes which were accompanied by air and ground shelling and targeting, where at least 11 members of the regime forces were killed and 6 of the jihadi factions and groups were also killed.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 255, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 97 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 29 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 16 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 86 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 72 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 18th day, to 407 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 10th of May 2019, they are 146 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 104 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 138 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 10th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 783 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 384 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 172 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 110 fighters of the “jihadis” and 216 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1013 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 465 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 239 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 125 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 309 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
