After killing 10 civilians yesterday, the Russian and regime’s warplanes begin the 12th day of the heaviest escalation with intense airstrikes accompanied by heavy ground shelling within the “de-escalation” area

The most intense escalation since the start of “Putin-Erdogan” agreement began its 12th consecutive day with more intensive aerial and ground bombardment, where the Syrian Observatory monitored intense overflights of Russian warplanes since midnight of yesterday in the sky of Hama and Idlib countryside, in conjunction with carrying out air raids on the area, where since after midnight until dawn of today they carried out 6 raids on al-Hbit and its outskirts, 3 raids on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, 2 raids on each of the outskirts of al-Ftirah, Wadi Martahoun, outskirts of Ma’aret Hurmah, al-Bara village, and al-Hwaiz, while the helicopters dropped 4 barrel bombs dawn of today on places in al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, they also dropped 3 barrel bombs after midnight on the outskirts of Maarzita village, and 2 barrel bombs on Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.

Regime’s warplanes also carried out several raids dawn of today targeting places in al-Hbit town south of Idlib, in addition to raids they carried out after midnight on places in Khan Shaykhun city, while the regime forces targeted by more than 22 rocket shells places in Khan Shaykhun at dawn of today, and other areas in Teffahiyyeh and Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, they also shelled after midnight of yesterday areas in al-Lataminah town in the northern sector of Hama countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 264, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 106 civilians including 15 children and 29 citizen women, and they are 33 including 6 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 33 including 7 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 18 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 86 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 72 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 20th day, to 416 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 10th of May 2019, they are 155 civilians including 29 children and 38 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 104 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 138 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 10th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 792 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 393 civilians including 99 children under the age of eighteen and 96 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 172 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 110 fighters of the “jihadis” and 227 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1022 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 474 civilians including 131 children and 108 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 239 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 125 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 309 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
