More human losses raise the number of citizens who were killed by the regime forces and their warplanes and helicopters in both Hama and Idlib countryside to 12 casualties within the 27th day of the fiercest escalation

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more human losses against the backdrop of the continued and violent air and ground strikes within the “de-escalation” zone, where it rose to 12, the number of casualties who were killed today due to the aerial and ground bombardment within the “de-escalation” area, they are: 4 persons including a citizen woman and a child girl who were killed as a result of bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, 2 men were killed due to targeting by the regime’s warplanes to the outskirts of Hish town, a man who was killed in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Sfuhen town, a man in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Om Zaytunah village, a woman and a man due to barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Al-Ftirah and Sheikh Mustafa one after another, a man in ground shelling by the regime forces on the outskirts of Murak town north of Hama, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of a large number of injuries in separated areas.

In the same context, cautious calm returned to prevail the battle fronts in the northern countryside of Hama after the regime forces managed to impose their control again over Kafr Nabudah town, also the factions fired rocket shells on Al-Suqaylabiyah town in the western countryside of Hama, while it rose to 136, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since after the midnight targeting both Idlib and Hama countryside, they are: 71 on Kafr Nabudah, 29 on al-Hbit, 8 on Al-Ftirah, 8 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 10 on Khan Shaykhun, and 7 on Sheikh Mustafa, and 3 on Naqir, also it rose to 144, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since today’s dawn, they are: 55 on Kafr Nabudah, 21 on Al-Hbit, 12 on Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, 11 on Kabana, 7 on each of Naqir, Abdeen and Hish, and 3 raids on each of Kafr Zita, Kafr Sajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytunah, Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Sfuhen, Fulayfel and al-Qassabiyyeh.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 776, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 25th of May 2019, and they are: 236 civilians including 47 children and 45 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 29 including 8 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 99 including 13 women, 20 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 42 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 292 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 248 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 36th day, to 929 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 26th of May 2019, they are 286 civilians including 61 children and 56 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 310 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 314 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 25th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1305 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they  are 521 civilians including 131 children under the age of eighteen and 114 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 378 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 227 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 403 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1534 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 604 civilians including 162 children and 126 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 445 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 241 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 485 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
