More than 200 airstrikes and rocket shells at the end of the 31st day of the campaign of the fiercest escalation targeted the de-escalation zones

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that the regime’s warplanes carried out areas in Kafruma, Khan Shaykhun, Sfuhen, Hazarin, Kafr Nubl, the vicinity of Al-Bara, Kafr Sajna, Ihsim, Deir Senbul, Arinbeh, Jbala and Al-Sayyad in both Hama and Idlib countryside, raising to 85, the number of air raids by regime’s warplanes that targeted al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, Arinbeh, al-Hbit, Kafruma, Ariha, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Khan Shaykhun, al-Faqea, Karasaa, Marayan, Kafr Mus, Mantaf, Tremla, Jabal al-Arba’in area, Abdeen, Hzarin, the vicinity of Al-Bara, Kafr Sajna, Deir Senbul, Arinbeh, Jbala and Al-Sayyad in Idlib countryside, and Kabani area at Jabal al-Akrad, while the Russian warplanes carried out 9 raids on Al-Hbit, Khan Shaykhun and Sfuhen, also the helicopters dropped today 2 barrel bombs this morning on Shahranaz village in Sahl al-Ghab and Tremla in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the SOHR documented ground shelling by the regime forces by more than 100 rocket shells that targeted areas in Al-Hbit, Abdeen and Qasabiyeh in the southern countryside of Idlib and areas in Al-Kabbariyyeh, Qarqur, the vicinity of the power station and Murak in the northern countryside of Hama, in addition, the regime forces shelled by missiles filled with the incendiary phosphorus which is internationally prohibited, areas in Al-Hbit and Kafr Ein in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the Turkish observation post in Eshtabraq village in the vicinity of Jisr Al-Shughur city launched flares in an attempt to down a reconnaissance plane whose identity is not known that was flying over the vicinity of the area, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a woman affected by the injury she had in earlier bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Hazarin town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 948, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 30th of May 2019, and they are: 310 civilians including 77 children and 65 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 162 including 32 women, 44 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 45 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 22 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Nayrab Camp and neighborhoods in Aleppo city, while at least 369 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 269 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 41st day, to 1098 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 30th of May 2019, they are 360 civilians including 91 children and 76 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 26 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 371 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 335 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 30th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1477 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 598 civilians including 161 children under the age of eighteen and 132 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 50 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 455 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 285 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 424 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1706 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 678 civilians including 191 children and 144 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 522 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 300 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 506 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
