Ground shelling by the regime forces claims the lives of 3 citizens in Al-Zayadiyeh village in the southern countryside of Jisr Al-Shughr

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 citizens and the injury of 5 others as a result of artillery shelling by the regime forces on areas in Al-Zayadiyeh village in the southern countryside of Jisr Al-Shughr, while the regime’s warplanes renewed their bombardment on areas in Al-Hbit, Hish, Khan Shaykhun, Tal A’as and Al-Lataminah in the southern countryside of Idlib and the northern countryside of Hama, raising to 88, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since this morning, where they targeted the outskirts of Sarja, Hersh Bnin, Kafr Owaid, vicinity of Maarrat al-Nu’man, Arinbeh, outskirts of Khan Shaykhun, the vicinity of Kafrjales, Hish, Ein Larose, the western outskirts of Idlib city, Amiqah, al-Hwash, al-Hawijah, al-Sayyad, Ihsim, al-Hbit, Tal Aas, al-Faqea, Kafr Zita, Latmin, while the warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” carried out 15 raids by on Kafr Ain, Khan Shaykhun, and al-Hbit in the southern countryside of Idlib, al-Hwash in Sahl al-Ghab, and Deir Senbol and Lwbideh in Jabal Shashabo, and on Friday, the helicopters dropped 19 barrel bombs on al-Amiqah, al-Hwash, al-Hawijah, outskirts of Khan Shaykhun, Al-Hbit, Shahranaz, and Qara Jern.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 984, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 31st of May 2019, and they are: 315 civilians including 77 children and 66 citizen women, and they are 44 including 15 children and 13 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 167 including 35 women, 44 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 46 people including 6 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 22 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 392 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 276 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 41st day, to 1134 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 31st of May 2019, they are 366 civilians including 91 children and 77 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 26 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 407 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 342 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 31st of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1513 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 604 civilians including 161 children under the age of eighteen and 133 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 50 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 478 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 300 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 431 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1742 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 684 civilians including 191 children and 145 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 545 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 315 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 513 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
