In 66 hours…the battle of the north-western countryside of Hama depletes the regime forces and kills about 130 members of them in 3 villages

The violent clashes are still continuing in the north-western countryside of Hama between Jaysh Al-Izza, the factions of the National Liberation Front and other jihadi groups on one hand, against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them backed by the Russian forces on the other, against the backdrop of the battle that the factions and jihadi groups launched in the area in the afternoon of Thursday the 6th of June 2019, through which they managed to impose their control over the strategic village of Tal Melh as well as the villages of Jibben and Kafr Hud in the battle’s first day, before the regime forces carried out a counter attack and regained the control of Kafr Hud after the factions had withdrawn from it, but they (the regime forces) are unable so far to recover Tal Melh and Jibben, despite the large Russian air and ground support as well as the aerial bombardment by the regime’s warplanes, on their part, the factions did not stop there and on the second day, they carried out an attack on another side, the side of Al-Hmmamiyat, Al-Jalmah and the north of Tal Melh, but they failed at the first time to advance, so they renewed their attack yesterday, Saturday and managed to take the control of large spaces of Al-Jalmah, thus the factions managed to block Al-Suqaylabiyah – Muhradah Highway after imposing their control over Tal Melh and Al-Jalmah.
