The regime’s intelligence carries out a campaign of raids and arrests in Da’el town in the middle countryside of Daraa targeting houses of fighters and commander of factions of those that were in control of the town

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime’s intelligence has carried out a new campaign of raids and arrests in Da’el town in the middle countryside of Daraa, where members of the branch of the Air Force Intelligence raided several houses in the town including houses of former commanders and members of the factions of those who struck reconciliation and settlement deals or of those who have been displaced to the Syrian North, where they arrested a person who is a relatives of one of the commanders of the factions which were in control of Da’el town, without information about the reasons for arresting him so far, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 31st of May 2019, that the authorities of the regime released 22 detainees from the people of Daraa Province, where 19 men and 3 women were release in the past hours after they were detained by the regime at different times over the years of the Syrian revolution on various charges during their participation in the peaceful movement, and arbitrary arrests by regime’s intelligence.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 16th of May 2019 the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that one of the military checkpoints of the security branches in the capital Damascus; arrested a “former leader of opposition factions” in Daraa province southern of Syria, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the arrest took place against the backdrop of personal lawsuits against the leader filed by members from the army, who were killed in the past years in clashes at Daraa province, and the sources added to the Syrian Observatory that the arrest took place despite the “settlement and reconciliation” the leader already had, and the fact that he joined the ranks of the 4th division of the regime forces.
