About 390 civilians including 175 children and women were killed in air and ground strikes in 41 days of the heaviest escalation

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of ground and aerial bombardment on “Putin – Erdogan” area since midnight until the morning of the 11th of June 2019, where Russian warplanes carried out after midnight of yesterday 8 raids at least targeting areas of al-Sayyad and Kafr Zita and their surrounding north Hama, and the surroundings of Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, while regime’s warplanes targeted dawn and morning of today using heavy machineguns the surroundings of Khan Shaykhun, trying to target columns of the factions heading to Hama, but other than that; “Putin – Erdogan” is witnessing relative calm in terms of aerial bombardment, and since after midnight the regime forces targeted by more than 260 shells and missiles places in Khan Shaykhun, Hersh Abdeen, al-Qassabiyyeh, Abu al-Duhur area, and the deserted battalion in the eastern and southern countryside of Idlib, and areas in places in Kabani area and al-Hadadah in Jabal al-Akrad and the supply routes in Latakia countryside, in addition to the surrounding of al-Najeya town and the youth housing in Bidama and Mar’aand village in the western countryside of Idlib, and Zammar town in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and in the same context, the factions and jihadi groups shelled locations of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in Kabani area in Latakia countryside, which  killed 2 of the regime forces and wounded number of others.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1498, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 11th of June 2019, and they are: 387 civilians including 94 children and 81 citizen women, and they are 51 including 15 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 219 including 44 women, 56 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 58 people including 9 women and 8 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 23 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 609 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 502 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 53rd day, to 1650 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 11th of June 2019, they are 437 civilians including 108 children and 89 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 27 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 624 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 568 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 11th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2027 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 675 civilians including 178 children under the age of eighteen and 145 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 51 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 695 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 453 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 657 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2256 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 755 civilians including 208 children and 157 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 53 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 762 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 468 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 739 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
