The Russian warplanes continue their criminality against the Syrian people and carry out a massacre leaving 8 displaced people dead half of them are children

Criminal actions of killing and displacement by the Syrian regime and its ally Russia, are continuing within the “Putin – Erdogan” area against the Syrian people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new episode of the Russian criminality represented by a massacre carried out by their warplanes after the midnight of Friday – Saturday, which claimed the lives of 8 citizens from the displaced people of Al-Latmainah town including 4 children and 2 women, after these warplanes targeted the place where they live in the agricultural lands in the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, while the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of injuries, some of whom are in serious conditions, in the same context, Russian warplanes also bombed after midnight, areas in Kafr Ein village south of Idlib, other than that, cautious and relative calm has been prevailing the whole “de-escalation” zone.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2446, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 12th of July 2019, and they are: 637 civilians including 167 children and 130 citizen women, and they are 77 including 24 children and 21 women, and 2 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 57 including 14 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 376 including 100 children, 69 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 81 people including 16 women and 10 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 45 citizens including 19 children and 9 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Kernaz, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 945 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling including 606 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 874 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 12th of July 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2985 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 924 civilians including 249 children under the age of eighteen and 194 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 73 people including 25 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1031 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 651 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1030 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3214 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1005 civilians including 277 children and 208 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 75 people including 25 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1098 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 665 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1111 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
