The most violent escalation in “Putin – Erdogan” area begins its 83rd day by a sudden attack by the factions against regime forces’ positions south Idlib, killing 12 of both parties

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a sudden attack carried out by the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against areas of al-Qassabiyyeh in the southern countryside of Idlib after midnight of yesterday, where violent clashes took place against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the Syrian Observatory learned the that the factions were able to enter Qassabiyyeh village but they withdrew under the pressure of intensity of fire, the clashes were accompanied by intensive and exchange of shelling and caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, where 7 fighters of the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed, in addition to 5 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and in the same context, the rebel and Islamic factions targeted by artillery and rocket shells areas and positions of the regime forces in Salhab, Joureen Camp, Shizer, Muhradah, al-Hammamiyyat, al-Moghir, and Kafr Nabudah in the western and northwestern countryside of Hama.

In the same context, the helicopters dropped about 20 barrel bombs on areas in Ma’aret Hurmah and its outskirts and the vicinity of Hzarin, Ma’arrat al-Sin, al-Sheikh Mustafa, al-Naqir, Kafr Nubl, Om al-Sir, Arinbeh, outskirts of the al-Qassabiyyeh in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, while the Russian warplanes bombed this morning the outskirts of Hish and Arinbeh south of Idlib, after being absence from the skies since yesterday evening, while regime’s warplanes bombed places in Khan Shaykhun city and its surroundings and outskirts of Qassabiyyeh, they also carried out raids on the roads connecting to Hama countryside, while regime artillery launched tens of artillery and rocket shells on places in Abdeen, Stuh al-Deir, Arinbeh, al-Sayed, Qiratah, Tal Meleh, al-Jabin, Hasraya, and al-Sermaniyyeh in Idlib and Hama countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2561, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 21st of July 2019, and they are: 673 civilians including 173 children and 133 citizen women, and they are 81 including 24 children and 22 women, and 3 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 58 including 14 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 393 including 103 children, 70 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 88 people including 16 women and 11 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 53 citizens including 19 children and 10 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 970 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 610 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 918 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st  of July 2019, the and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3090 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 959 civilians including 255 children under the age of eighteen and 197 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 81 people including 26 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1056 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 655 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1075 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3319 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1041 civilians including 283 children and 211 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 83 people including 26 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1123 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 669 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1155 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
