More casualties raise to more than 70, the number of people who were killed and injured as a result of the largest massacre to be carried out by the Russian warplanes by targeting Maarrat Al-Nu’man

The number of casualties is continuing to increase as a result of the massacre that was carried out by the warplanes of the Russian guarantor by targeting a local market and residential buildings in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib, where it rose to 27 persons including 2 children, 3 women, a member of the Civil Defense and 2 unidentified people, the number of casualties who were killed in the largest massacre within “Putin – Erdogan” area since the start of escalation in late April, while the number of casualties is expected to increase because of the presence of more than 45 injured cases some of whom are in serious conditions, in addition to the presence of other people missing and stuck under the rubble, in the same context, the SOHR documented the death of a man, his wife and their son as a result of the explosion of a shell of the remnants of an earlier ground shelling by the regime forces on their house in Al-Kastan village in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur.

While it rose to 32, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Khan Shaykhun, Al-Rakaya, Al-Taman’aa, Tar’ei, Hish, Kafr Nubl and Hazarin south of Idlib, and Murak and Al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, also the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Murak town north of Hama, while it rose to 53, the number of raids carried out by the regime’s warplanes since morning on Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Kafr Sajna, Maar Zita, Armanya, Basid, Kafruma, Maarrat Al-Sin, Kansafra, Al-Fatira and the outskirts of Kafr Nubl in the southern countryside of Idlib, Kabana area in Jabal Al-Akrad, Al-Sermaniyyeh and Dwayr Al-Akrad in Sahl Al-Ghab, and Latmin north of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2614, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 22nd of July 2019, and they are: 722 civilians including 183 children and 139 citizen women, and they are 109 including 26 children and 25 women, and 5 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 58 including 14 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 410 including 113 children, 72 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 92 people including 17 women and 14 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 53 citizens including 19 children and 10 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 974 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 614 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 918 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st  of July 2019, the and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3143 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1008 civilians including 265 children under the age of eighteen and 203 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 81 people including 26 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1060 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 659 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1075 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3372 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1090 civilians including 293 children and 217 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 83 people including 26 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1127 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 673 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1155 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
