Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes by medium and light weapons between the security services of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against a cell affiliated to the “Islamic State” organization, in the eastern neighborhood in Saraqeb town in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside, where Tahrir Al-Sham has cordoned off the neighborhood amid the sound of violent explosions in the area and information about blowing a member of the cell himself up using an explosive belt, while the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 2 members of the jihadi faction by unidentified persons believed to be of ISIS cells, where their bodies were found near Maarrat Masrin, and the SOHR published on the 19th of July 2019, that Kidnappings and targeting continue within areas controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib province and the surrounding countryside, where an explosion was heard on Friday noon in Bennesh city caused by an IED explosion in a car belongs to the police outpost in the city, and in the same context, the security branches of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham dismantled an IED prepared for detonation in Ma’arrat Mesrin town, while unknown people in Salqeen town kidnapped a merchant from his farm in the vicinity of Salqeen town and took him to an unknown destination, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 18th of July 2019 that an explosion was heard in the northern sector of Idlib countryside on Thursday morning, it was caused by an IED explosion on the agricultural road between al-Dana town and Turmanin village in the northern countryside of Idlib, but no information about injuries until the moment, this comes in light of the rising activity of ISIS cells and the regime within areas of control of the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib province, and the connected countryside, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday, the 17th of July 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that the security forces of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” arrested one of the escorts of the leader of the “Islamic State” Organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Iraqi nationality, he was arrested several days ago in a raid in the city, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the escort of the leader of the Organization was transferred to Idlib Central Prison and during his interrogation it turned out that he was responsible for managing cells of the “Islamic State” Organization in the province, the Syrian Observatory also monitored yesterday, Tuesday, the 16th of July 2019, a raid carried out by the security forces of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against a house of an ISIS cell in Jisr al-Shughur, and according to reliable sources: the cell is responsible for the explosion of the booby-trapped car that exploded near a Sharia office of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” within a residential neighborhood in Jisr al-Shughur city on the 24th of April 2019, where the explosion killed and injured tens of civilians and caused extensive destruction in residential buildings, also the Syrian Observatory monitored on Tuesday morning, that unknown gunmen opened their machine guns on a checkpoint of Hayyaat al-Sham at dawn on Tuesday, the 16th of July 2019, at one of the entrances to Sarmin city east of Idlib, while members of the checkpoint clashed with the gunmen and the attack was repelled without injuries, where Sarmin area is witnessing the presence of members of the “Islamic State” Organization of whom Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham tried to eradicate through several security operations, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the body of a citizen woman in her fifties was found on Tuesday the 9th of July 2019, and it was revealed later that she is a Christian woman, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the woman is from Ya’qubiyah village north of Jisr Al-Shughur in the western countryside of Idlib, where her body was found with marks of torture on it, and according to the forensic medicine; the woman had been tortured for about 9 hours and before she was stoned till death by unidentified persons.
And with the fall of more casualties it rose to 574, the number of people who were killed in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, since the 26th of April 2018, the date of starting the security chaos to be escalated in the province, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and another child was with them, and the attorney-general of the Ministry of Justice of the Rescue Government, in addition to 160 civilians including 21 children and 13 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 352 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 61 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today the 15th of July 2019, that violent clashes erupted between an Islamic faction against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in Al-Talhiyeh village east of Idlib, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory’s activists; a security force of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham has raided several houses in Al-Talhiyeh village in search for wanted people, where violent clashes erupted between the raiding force against a group operating under the banner of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar” in an attempt to prevent Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham from arresting the wanted people, which resulted in the fall of injuries in the ranks of the rebel members, while the SOHR learned that civilian dignitaries and some of the military commanders are trying to intervene to break up the disagreement in the villages, and the SOHR published on the 14th of July 2019, that an explosion was heard in Sarmada town at the border with the Iskenderun just after midnight of yesterday, it was caused by the explosion of an IED in a car on the road leading to Bab al-Hawa border crossing, but no information about casualties so far, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 13th of July 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of an unidentified person by gunfire of unidentified gunmen, where his body was found on the road between Qurqania and Radwa which is related to Harem city north of Idlib, and beside him, a piece of paper was found reads “this is the punishment for anyone who plants IEDs and kills Muslims”, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 10th of July 2019, that group of members of the security forces within Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham; raided a house of an ISIS cell in Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib on Wednesday afternoon, where one of the members of the cell blew himself up when he was besieged and another member of the cell was killed, amid information about casualties in the ranks of the raiding force, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an IED explosion today morning, Wednesday the 10th of July 2019, in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city within the southern countryside of Idlib, where it targeted a commander in the “National Liberation Front” which injured him critically, and the SOHR published that it monitored on the 7th of July 2019, a new assassination as part of the series of continuous security chaos in areas of control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions in Idlib province and the surrounding countryside, where unidentified gunmen killed 2 of the Jihadi groups on Saturday evening, they were shot on the road between the towns of Darkush – Azmarin west of Idlib, and in the same context, an explosion was heard Saturday evening, it was caused by an IED explosion planted by unidentified people on the road between mutual shelling and Batinta village north of Idlib, but no information about casualties.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 3rd of July 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an IED explosion in a military vehicle belongs to an administrative officer in Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on Wednesday morning, the 3rd of July 2019, in Turmanin village north of Idlib, which caused him dangerous wounds, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 30th of June 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of a member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in an IED explosion in his car in Mastouma town near Idlib city on Saturday morning, the 29th of June 2019, and in the same context, yesterday evening the body of a fighter of a Jihadi faction was found shot dead on the road between Turmanin – al-Dana in the northern countryside of Idlib, and in the same context, unknown gunmen launched an RPG shell on headquarters of the Turkestani Islamic party, which caused injuries in their ranks in the area between Harem – Salqeen northwest of Idlib.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carried out a new security operation against cells of the “Islamic State” Organization which are spread in Idlib province, in the light of the great security chaos that has been prevailing the area, where a force of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham raided on Saturday, the 29th of June 2019, Sarmin town in Idlib countryside, and the Syrian Observatory learned that a member of one of the Organization’s cells blew himself up during the raid, but no information yet about the results of the operation, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that a violent explosion was heard in Idlib city today evening, Friday the 28th of June 2019, it turned out to be caused by an IED that exploded while being planted by an unidentified member near Al-Furqan Mosque in the city center, which caused his immediate death as well as the injury of a citizen, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today evening, that it monitored new explosions today, Friday, within the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, where an IED exploded in the vehicle of a commander in the National Liberation Front in the western neighborhood of Saraqib city, which injured him seriously, in addition to the injury of 5 fighters accompanied him some of whom have seriously wounded.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 28th of June 2019 an explosion took place on morning of the 28th of June 2019 in Taftanaz town at the countryside of Idlib, it was caused by the explosion of an IED in a car of a leading of Jaysh al-Ahrar which injured several people, and this bombing comes after similar bombing targeted the faction, where the Syrian Observatory published last night that a violent explosion was heard today evening in Zardana village in the northern countryside of Idlib, it turned out to be caused by an IED explosion in the vehicle of a commander in Jaysh Al-Ahrar, which injured him seriously.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of June 2019 that an explosion shook Shabur village south of Saraqib town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, it was caused by an explosion in a house of a fighter from a jihadi group, which killed the fighter and injured 2 of his children, but no information until the moment whether the explosion was caused by booby-trapping his house by an unidentified people, or if it was caused by the explosion of an IED while the fighter was preparing it.
