The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

In the highest monthly civilian death toll since the beginning of the year, more than 500 civilians were killed on the Syrian soil in July 2019

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 1124 people in July 2019, and they were distributed as follows:

Civilian casualties: 507 people including 190 children under the age of eighteen, and 60 women over the age of eighteen, and they were killed as follows:

94 citizens including 13 children and 19 women were killed in bombardment by Russian warplanes.

145 citizens including 43 children and 16 women were killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes.

20 citizens including 6 children and 7 were killed in bombardment by helicopters.

34 citizens including 9 children and 8 citizen women were killed in shelling by the regime forces.

38 citizens including 9 children and 5 citizen women were killed by the factions.

8 citizens including 2 children were killed by the regime forces.

7 citizens were killed under torture in the prisons of the regime forces.

6 people including 3 children and a woman were killed by the Israeli warplanes.

6 citizens including 2 children were killed by the Syria Democratic Forces.

3 were killed in prisons of the Syria Democratic Forces.

1 citizen was killed under torture in the prisons of the factions.

30 citizens including 15 children and 3 women were killed in mine explosions, IEDs, and grenades.

78 children were killed due to the bad health and life conditions in al-Hol Camp.

1 man was killed by the Turkish Border Guards.

10 citizens including 2 children and 1 woman were killed in assassinations in several areas in Syria.

2 citizens were killed in unknown situations.

2 children were killed in clashes by the factions.

Fighters of Islamic and repel factions and ISIS and Nusra Front (Qaeda organization of the Levant), and Mujahedeen and al-Ansar Army and Islamic Turkestan Party of non-Syrian nationalities: 149

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 18 massacres during July 2019, which claimed the lives of 167 civilian casualties including 42 children under the age of eighteen and 24 citizen women over the age of eighteen, where regime’s warplanes committed 9 massacres and killed 71 citizens including 9 women and 23 children under the age of eighteen, and the factions carried out 3 massacre which claimed the lives of 19 citizens including 2 children under the age of eighteen, while the regime forces committed 2 massacres and killed 11 citizens including 4 women, also helicopters committed 1 massacre and killed 10 citizens including 3 women and 7 children.

Despite the conferences calling for dialogue and solution, and the UNSC resolution and the unreal truces, the bloodshed continues on the Syrian territory and the killing and fighting continues without peace, and the cease-fire truces are only breaks between the conflicting parties in Syrian, where some parties were winners and others lost influence and control, so, we in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reiterates our calls for the international parties to do their utmost efforts to stop the bloodshed of the Syrian people, who faced tyranny and injustice to reach a state of justice, democracy, freedom and equality, and we the Syrian Observatory pledge to continue to monitor and document the massacres, violations, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against the Syrian people, in addition to the publication  of statistics about them in order to stop the perpetration of these crimes, violations and atrocities against the Syrian people, and to refer the perpetrators of these violations to the concerned courts of the state, so as not to escape their punishment for the crimes they committed against the people who was and still dream of having a state of democracy, freedom, justice and equality for all components of the Syrian people.
