area between the cities of Kobani and Tal Abyad, and the villages of Jaddou’, Khirbet Asaad, Bwayr, Khrab Askar, al-Swidiyyeh, and Khirbet Belka in the countryside of al-Hasaka province, amid continuous attempts to extinguish them, where these fires come in the series of the largest and most growing fires ever in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 11th of June 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that new fires broke out in the countryside of al-Hasaka province, where large number of agricultural lands were devoured in Amuda, Tal Hamis, Tal Brak, and farmlands near the old road of al-Hasakah, amid continuous attempts to extinguish them in the largest fire series ever seen in the area, where the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the fires that have devoured large areas of agricultural land in al-Hasaka countryside have been controlled, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the self-administration, the Kurdish Red Crescent, and the Syria Democratic Forces, with great participation of all the components of the citizens in al-Qahtaniyyeh area and its countryside in the Hasakah countryside after hours of continuous work, where the fire has devoured the agricultural land over large areas estimated to be more than 40000 dunums or about 70 percent of the total agricultural land
