“Putin – Erdogan” area witnesses decline in intensity of air and ground shelling in conjunction with cautious calm in the clash areas at the coast’s mountains and Hama countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the decrease in intensity of air and ground shelling in “Putin – Erdogan” area Friday afternoon, where the clashes in mountains of the coast and the northern countryside of Hama have stopped, and areas of clashes are witnessing continued ground shelling between both parties, while regime’s warplanes carried out more raids on Sukayk and al-Zarzour area in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, amid renewed Russian raids targeted Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, also the factions targeted positions of the regime in Joureen west of Hama, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored members of the National Liberation Front and other fighters carrying out an infiltration operation in Tallat Rashu area in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, which killed 6 members of the regime and militiamen loyal to them, while clashes continue between both parties in places at al-Qal’aa area in Jabal al-Turkman, accompanied by bombing by the Russian warplanes on the area, in addition to intensive ground shelling which targets areas of Kabani, Tardin, al-Khadr, al-Hadadah, al-Teffahiyyeh, and al-Bernas, al-Yunsiyyeh and their supply routes until the villages of the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur.

While the ground and air bombardments continue by warplanes of the regime and the Russian “guarantor” on the “de-escalation” area, where it rose to 23, the number of raids carried out by warplanes of the Russian guarantor since after midnight until the moment on al-Tamanah, Khan Shaykhun, Kafrsajna, the vicinity of al-Hbit, and al-Khwyn area south Idlib, Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, while the helicopters dropped more than 40 barrel bombs over areas in Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah north of Hama, and Khan Shaykhun, Tal Ass, and al-Hbit south of Idlib, while regime’s warplanes carried out about 38 airstrikes targeting areas in al-Sayyad, Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and Latmin in the northern countryside of Hama, Khan Shaykhun, al-Hbit, Tal Ass, Kafr Ain, Ma’aret Hurmah, al-Tamanah, Mdaya, and al-Rakaya south of Idlib, and al-Bawabiyyah in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and it rose to 305 shells launched by the regime forces on areas in the southern countryside of Idlib and the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, in addition to the coast’s mountains and the southern countryside of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory documented casualties in the continued air and ground shelling and clashes in the northern countryside of Hama, where 7 fighters including 4 of the Jihadis were killed, while 4 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3032 , the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 9th of August 2019, and they are: 887 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 160 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1125 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 706 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1020 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 9th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3561 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1173 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1211 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 751  fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1177 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3791 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1256 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1278 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 764 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1257 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
