As the regime and the Russians intensely escalate their strikes through more than 675 air and ground strikes within hours, the rebel factions and jihadi groups bring military reinforcements to 3 towns where the regime forces reached their outskirts

the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syrian regime and the Russian “guarantor” escalating the air and ground bombardment and shelling on the towns of al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama, and al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, where they targeted these areas by hundreds of raids, barrel bombs, and shells since dawn of today, this escalations come after the regime forces reached the outskirts of these towns during the last few days with the support of the Russian ally, the factions in turn sent military reinforcements and fortified their positions in al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, and al-Hbit, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented heavy casualties as a result of the shelling, targeting, and clashes in Hama countryside and the coast’s mountains, where 17 fighters including 12 of the jihadi groups were killed, while 11 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to information about other casualties, raising to 135, the number of casualties of both parties since the collapse of the ceasefire on the afternoon of Monday, the 5th of August 2019, they are (84 fighters including 56 of the jihadi groups, and 51 of the regime forces and militias loyal to them)

While it rose to 57, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on Khan Shaykhun, Abedin, al-Hbit, Kafrsajna, Tremla, Sukayk, al-Khwyn, al-Tamanah, Mdaya and al-Rkaya in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, also it rose to 23, the number of Russian strikes that targeted areas in al-Hbit and the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, Dweir al-Akrad in Sahl al-Ghab, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad in addition to Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, while it rose to 46, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, al-Hbit, Abedin, and Madaya south of Idlib, and Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, also it rose to 550, the number of shells and missiles that targeted areas in the southern and eastern countryside of Latakia, the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, in addition to mountains of the coast and the southern countryside of Aleppo.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3075, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 10th of August 2019, and they are: 887 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 160 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1153 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 725 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1035 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 10th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3604 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1173 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1239 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 770 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1192 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3834 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1256 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1306 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 783 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1272 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
