About 1200 air and ground strikes targeted “Putin – Erdogan” area during this day…and 69 members and fighters of the factions, jihadis and the regime forces were killed in the battles of the south of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented during this day, 190 raids carried out by regime’s warplanes and barrel bombs dropped by their helicopters on areas in Khan Shaykhun, Ma’aret Hurmah, Abdeen, Mdaya, Kafr Ain, Kafr Nubl, Tal Ass, al-Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytouna, al-Tamanah, Maar Zita, Hass, and al-Khoury in the southern and southeastern sector of Idlib countryside, and Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and al-Sayyad in the northern countryside of Hama, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, and ICARDA area south of Aleppo, while it rose to 55, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes targeting places in the above-mentioned areas, also it rose to 970, number of missiles and shells launched by the regime forces targeting areas in the northern countryside of Hama, the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, Latakia mountains, and the southern countryside of Aleppo.

While the regime forces and under a cover of heavy air and ground firepower, managed to take the control of Sukayk town and its strategic hill in the southern countryside of Idlib province, after fierce battles continued since yesterday to take the control of it by the regime forces and their loyal gunmen, thus, the regime forces became at the doorstep of Al-Taman’aa in the southern countryside of Idlib, approaching the strategic city of Khan Shaykhun, where this advancement came after the regime forces managed to achieve their most important advancement in the countryside of Idlib province since the 30th of April 2019, the date of starting the fiercest escalation on “Putin – Erdogan” area, through imposing their control over Al-Hbit town south of Idlib at today’s dawn, Sunday the 11th of August 2019, after 5 failed advancement attempts into the town.

And in the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the continuous military operations in Idlib province since after midnight and until now, where it rose to 45 including 30 of the Jihadis, the number of fighters who were killed in air and ground strikes and clashes, while it rose to 24, the number of casualties of the regime forces and militias loyal to them, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3179, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 11th of August 2019, and they are: 890 civilians including 219 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 162 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 475 including 132 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1213 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 766 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1076 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 11th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3708 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1176 civilians including 301 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1299 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 811 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1233 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3938 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1259 civilians including 330 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1366 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 824 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1313 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
