After taking the control of 5 villages and farms west of Khan Shaykhun…the regime forces carry out a new attack east of the city under a cover of heavy aerial and ground firepower by about 625 air and ground strikes

Violent clashes are underway in Tar’ei area in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, as a part of a new attack by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them backed by Russia, for the 3rd consecutive day, along with the factions and jihadi groups’ confrontation against them, and the battles are coincided with heavy aerial and ground bombardment by helicopters and Russian warplanes in addition to tens of shells and missiles, where the regime forces are seeking to get closer to Khan Shaykhun city from the eastern side, after they managed to advance from the city’s western side, after they captured 5 villages and farms today, Tuesday, they are: Kafr Ein, Tel A’as and its hill, Um Zaytunah, and the farms of Kharbat Murshed and Mintar, while the Syrian Observatory documented more human losses as a result of the aerial and ground bombardment and the ongoing clashes in the southern countryside of Idlib, where it rose to 27 fighters including 20 jihadis, the number of fighters who were killed since after midnight, also it rose to 14, the number of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the same period.

While it rose to 40, the number of airstrikes carried out by the regime’s warplanes through which they targeted Khan Shaykhun, Al-Taman’aa, Tar’ei, Kafr Sajna, Hazarin, Rakaya and the clash areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, also it rose to 29, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on Khan Shaykhun, Al-Tah, Al-Salehiyah, Al-Taman’aa, Al-Khwayn, Al-Zarzur, Al-Helbah and Um Jalal in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 51, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kafr Nubl, Hass, Kafrumah, Rakaya, Basqala and the clash areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 505, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on places in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, the northern countryside of Hama and Latakia mountains.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3317, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 14th of August 2019, and they are: 898 civilians including 221 children and 163 citizen women, and they are 169 including 33 children and 37 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 476 including 132 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1281 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 817 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1138 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 14th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3846 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1184 civilians including 303 children under the age of eighteen and 227 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1367 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 862 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1295 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4076 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1267 civilians including 332 children and 241 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1434 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 874 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1375 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
