The regime forces launch a new attack on areas south of Idlib…and more than 1100 air and ground strikes targeted “Putin – Erdogan” area during this day

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes during today’s latest hours between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the factions and jihadi groups on the other, in an attempt by the former to advance towards Al-Rakaya village west of Khan Shaykhun city from their positions in Madaya village south of Idlib, in conjunction with preliminary intense aerial and ground bombardment that target the area.

While the Syrian Observatory documented today the killing of 17 fighters including 11 jihadis who were killed in aerial and ground bombardment, targeting and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the eastern areas of Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, also the SOHR documented the killing of 11 members of the regime forces and its loyalists in the same bombardment and clashes.

While it rose to 135, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on places in Khan Shaykhun, al-Rakaya, Hish, Kafrsajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Tar’ei, Ma’aret Hurmah, Marshourin, Deir Sharqi, Hazarin, al-Tamanah, and outskirts of Talmanas south of Idlib province, and Al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, also it rose to 50, the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes on the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Karsa’a, Rakaya Sajna, Arinbeh, the vicinity of Abdeen, Tar’ei, al-Tamanah, the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, Hazarin, Maarrat Hurmah and Hish in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kabana area in Jabal Al-Akrad, while it rose to 1000, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on the northern countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib and Latakia Mountains.

While the SOHR documented during this day, 17 civilian casualties who were killed in the southern countryside of Idlib, they are: a women and her 6 sons and daughters who were killed in a massacre carried out by regime’s warplanes which bombed the village of Deir Sharqi, 3 firefighters and a child died affected by the injury they had due to earlier Russian airstrikes that targeted Khan Shaykhun city, 2 citizens were killed in Russian raids that targeted Khan Shaykhun city today, 2 men in Russian bombardment on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl town south of Idlib, a citizen was killed due to Russian airstrikes that targeted places in Maarrat Hurmah, a citizen displaced from Halfaya as a result of bombardment by Russian warplanes on the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city south of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3491, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 17th of August 2019, and they are: 941 civilians including 236 children and 172 citizen women, and they are 196 including 40 children and 41 women, and 7 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 69 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 490 including 136 children, 82 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 107 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1357 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 883 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1193 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 17th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4020 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1227 civilians including 318 children under the age of eighteen and 236 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1443 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 918 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1350 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4250 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1310 civilians including 347 children and 250 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1510 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1020 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1430 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
