Violent clashes continue in the area of Kabana north of Latakia…and about 1000 air and ground strikes target “Putin – Erdogan” area during this day

Violent clashes are still continuing in in Kabana area north of Latakia between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the rebel and Islamic factions as well as jihadi groups on the other, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance amid intense rocket shelling on the clash areas.

And in the same context, it rose to 94, the number of raids carried out by the regime’s warplanes on Maarshourin, Tell Mannas, Deir Sharqi, Jarjnaz, Al-Halba, the vicinity of Serman, Kafr Sajna, Al-Tah, Al-Taman’aa, Al-Hamdiyyeh and Kafr Nubl in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, Al-Bawabiyah south of Aleppo, and Kabana area in Jabal Al-Akrad, also it rose to 105, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on areas in Kafruma, al-Ftirah, Hish, Tahtaya, al-Deir al-Gharbi, Talmanas, al-Ghadqa, Jarjanaz, Sehyan, Kafr Sajna, al-Raffa, and al-Halba in Idlib countryside, and the area of Kabana north of Latakia, also it rose to 45, the number of strikes carried out by warplanes of the Russian guarantor on Kabani in the northern countryside of Latakia, and al-Ghadqa, Al-Taman’aa and outskirts of al-Hamdiyyeh in the southern Idlib countryside, as well as Al-Sermaniyyah and Duwayr Al-Akrad, also it rose to 750, the number of shells and missiles through which the regime forces targeted places in the north-western countryside of Hama, the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, Latakia Mountains and the south-western countryside of Aleppo.

While the SOHR documented today the killing of 8 fighters including 7 jihadis due to the ongoing battles in Kabana area north of Latakia, in addition to the killing of 11 members of the regime forces in the same battles.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3758, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 22nd of August 2019, and they are: 976 civilians including 243 children and 174 citizen women, and they are 216 including 43 children and 42 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 75 including 16 women and 12 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 501 including 142 children, 83 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 109 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1499 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 986 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1281 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4284 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1261 civilians including 325 children under the age of eighteen and 238 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1585  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1031 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1438 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4514 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1344 civilians including 354 children and 252 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1654 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1127 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1509 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
