The regime forces and jihadi groups interrupt the calm in “Putin – Erdogan” area through exchange of shelling in Aleppo and Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of rocket shells launched by the regime forces today evening, Monday, on places in Maarrat Hurmah, Rakaya and Kafr Sajna in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Bdama village in the western countryside of Idlib, also jihadi factions targeted by several rocket shells, positions of the regime forces in the areas of Zammar and Harisha in the southern countryside of Aleppo, without information about casualties so far, other than that, cautious and relative calm is still continuing within “Putin – Erdogan” area, and the SOHR published hours ago, that violent explosions shook al-Khwyn area which is controlled by the regime forces in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, where smoke were seen rising from the area but no information about the nature of the explosions and their causes yet, and in the same context, the contact areas southeast of Idlib are witnessing sporadic targeting between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions and Jihadis, but other than that; the cautious calm continues within the de-escalation area, and the Syrian Observatory has published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it is false; the news about the withdrawal of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham from its positions or evacuating its headquarters near the international highways of Damascus – Aleppo and Aleppo – Latakia, in accordance with the agreement between the Russian and Turkish military forces, under which the military operations were stopped within “Putin – Erdogan” area which extends from the northeastern mountains of Latakia to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city passing through Hama and Idlib countryside, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces bringing reinforcements to their positions in the western and southwestern suburbs of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory just published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of 5 members of the regime forces and militias loyal to them in shelling and clashes against the factions and jihadi groups in the southeastern countryside of Idlib and the northern countryside of Hama 3 days before the start of the ceasefire, and in the same context the cautious calm continues within “Putin – Erdogan” area interrupted by the fall of shells launched by the regime forces on al-Rakaya and Hish in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, amid the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over the southern countryside of Idlib, also the airstrikes are still suspended until the moment as part of the ceasefire that began on morning of Saturday the 31st of August 2019.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4114, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 2nd of September 2019, and they are: 1048 civilians including 261 children and 186 citizen women, and they are 226 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 539 including 154 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 115 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 80 citizens including 26 children and 14 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1667 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1087 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1399 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 1st of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4639 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1331 civilians including 342 children under the age of eighteen and 250 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 106 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 18 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1753  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1122 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1555 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4870 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1414 civilians including 371 children and 264 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 107 people including 31 children and 19 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1820 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1224 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1636 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
