The regime forces breaches the ceasefire agreement once again through targeting areas south of Idlib by rocket shells

Activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling carried out today evening by the regime forces targeting areas in Hish, Al-Tah, Sheikh Mustafa, Maarrat Hurmah and Al-Rakaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a citizen affected by the injury he had as a result of bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city about 10 days ago, also the regime forces shelled today afternoon, places in Maarrat Hurmah, Kafr Sajna, Maasaran and Al-Naqir in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, without information about casualties, and the SOHR published hours ago, that at a time when warplanes of the regime and the Russians have stopped bombing “Putin – Erdogan” area 8 days ago, and in conjunction with the cautious and relative calm in terms of ground shelling, clashes, and targeting under the new ceasefire that began on the morning of the 31st of August 2019, civilians who were forced to flee from their areas in Idlib and Hama countryside, are returning to inspect their property, particularly in Maarrat al-Nu’man countryside, Jabal Shashabo, and other areas south and southeast of Idlib, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the return of few civilians to settle in their homes because the civilians do not trust the agreements of the Russians and the Turks, and in the same context, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is still deployed within its positions near Damascus – Aleppo international highway, and Aleppo – Latakia international highway as well, without any retreat or withdrawal from the area there, despite the fact that the deadline for the promise made by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to suspended the military operations within the “de-escalation” area almost ended.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4126, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of September 2019, and they are: 1049 civilians including 261 children and 186 citizen women, and they are 226 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 540 including 154 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 115 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 80 citizens including 26 children and 14 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1671 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1088 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1406 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 7th of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4651 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1332 civilians including 342 children under the age of eighteen and 250 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 106 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 18 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1757  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1123 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1562 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4882 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1415 civilians including 371 children and 264 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 107 people including 31 children and 19 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1824 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1225 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1645 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
