“Army of the Homeland” cuts thousands of fruit trees from the areas it controlled in the southern countryside of Idlib and the northern countryside of Hama recently

The Syrian Observatory learned from reliable sources that the regime forces and their loyal Shabiha cut off fruit trees from cities and towns of Khan Shaykhun, Kafr Zita, Morek, al-Lataminah, al-Zakat, al-Sayyad, and Latmin in the northern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib, after they were completely looted them, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: tens of members carrying electrical saws spread in those above mentioned areas in addition to tens of cars prepared to transport trees to places in Hama city, to sell tons of firewood as the winter approaches, and reliable sources confirmed that about 2 million trees of olive, pistachios and other fruit trees in that area threatened to be cut and stolen by members of the regime to sell them as firewood for heating.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 3rd of September 2019 that the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them continue to loot property of the citizens in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, or what is left of the property of civilians there, after the regime and Russian warplanes destroyed more than half of them, where locusts of “the Homeland Army” continues to rob shops, houses, and land, after the displacement of civilians due to military operations, and in less than 24 hours of regime’s completion of deployment with their militias in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib; locusts of “the Homeland Army” were racing to “loot” civilian property or the rest of it after the houses were destroyed, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored large-scale looting operations by the regime forces in Khan Shaykhun city from stealing household furniture, contents of houses, shops, warehouses, etc., at a time when residents of the city are looking for shelter in light of practices of the warlords there, also Turkey is closing its doors in addition to the doors of the Syrian city of Afrin, which is under its control along with Syrian factions loyal to it, so Khan Shaykhun has become a new ground for the “Homeland Army,” just as al-Hbit and other cities, towns, and villages that had been previously controlled by the regime.
