More than 150 rocket shells targeted “Puton – Erdogan” area today leaving 5 civilian casualties south of Idlib

Activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed rocket shelling by the regime ground forces on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib, where the shelling resulted in the death of 2 citizens as well as the injury of 5 others including cases in critical condition which may raise the death toll, thus, it rose to 5, the number of people who were killed today due to the rocket shelling which targeted areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, they are: 3 citizens including a child girl who were killed due to the rocket shelling which targeted Maarrat Al-Nu’man city south of Idlib, and a man and a woman of the same family were killed due to the rocket shelling carried out by the regime forces on Kafr Nubl town in the southern sector of Idlib countryside today morning, Friday, while it rose to 155, the number of rocket shells fired by the regime forces pn places in Kafr Nubl, Um Al-Sir, Kafr Sajna, Maarrat Hurmah, Sheikh Mustafa, Kansafra, Rakaya, Maar Zita, Maarrat Matr and other places in the countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, and Khalseh in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4138, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 13th of September 2019, and they are: 1061 civilians including 263 children and 188 citizen women, and they are 228 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 541 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 123 people including 21 women and 22 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1671 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1088 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1406 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 13th of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4663 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1344 civilians including 344 children under the age of eighteen and 252 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1757  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1123 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1562 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4894 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1427 civilians including 373 children and 266 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1824 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1225 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1645 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
