Unknown rocket shells target Khan Shaykhun city in conjunction with the continuation of ground strikes by the regime forces on different areas in both Idlib and Hama countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of rocket shells on areas in Khan Shaykhun city which is under the control of the regime forces in the southern countryside of Idlib, without information so far about the source of the shells, while the regime forces renewed their rocket shelling on places in Kafr Nubl, Hass, Hish, Jbala, Maar Zita and Maarrat Hurmah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and other areas in Al-Ziyarah and Al-Qarqur in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, without information about casualties, and the SOHR published today afternoon, that reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Syrian regime is preparing for a new play represented by bringing in thousands of the people of the northern countryside of Hama and a few others from Khan Shaykhun, to be shown as returnees to the regime-held areas after being disinfected from terrorists, and the sources added that those whom the regime brought, are mainly live in the regime’s controlled areas while a section of them receive their salaries from the regime’s institutions, but they live in the factions-held areas, where they were summoned to Hama days ago, and the regime tends through this play, to propagandize the return of citizens to this area, but the SOHR has not documented the return of any citizens from the northern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib, of those whom the regime and Russian military operations forced to displaced from the area, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the regime forces and at the behest of Russia, continue to open Abu al-Duhur crossing in the eastern countryside of Idlib for the 2nd consecutive day, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has not documented any case of exit by the civilians living within the areas of Tahrir al-Sham and the factions towards the controlled areas of the regime forces, and the information promoted by the Syrian regime about the fact that the factions prevent the citizens from leaving, is completely false, on the contrary, citizens refuse to head to regime-held areas as they essentially oppose it and do not trust it, its promises or the Russian – Turkish deals, in connection to this, the regime forces renewed their targeting by shells to several places in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and the SOHR monitored renewed rocket shelling after midnight of Saturday – Sunday and today morning carried out by the regime forces targeting areas in Kafr Nubl, the residential neighborhoods of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, Kafr Sajna, Maar Zita, Al-Rakaya, Hass, Kafrumah, Al-Ameriyyeh, Muqqah, Jbala and Kansafrah in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, the rocket shelling also targeted the area of Jabal Shahsaboo in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the SOHR documented the death of a citizen woman in the shelling that targeted Kansafra, while the warplanes have been still absent since Friday evening the 13th of September 2019, the SOHR also documented the death of a citizen affected by the he had in earlier bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Kafr Oweid in the southern countryside of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4142, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 15th of September 2019, and they are: 1064 civilians including 264 children and 189 citizen women, and they are 228 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 125 people including 22 women and 23 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1672 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1088 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1406 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 13th of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4667 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1347 civilians including 345 children under the age of eighteen and 253 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1758 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1123 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1562 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4898 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1430 civilians including 374 children and 267 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1824 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1225 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1645 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
