“2 infiltrators” of ISIS carry out a violent attack with weapons and grenades against a security post of “al-Raqqah Military Council” in al-Raqqah city

2 infiltrators of the “Islamic State” Organization attacked a security point of “al-Raqqah Military Council” in Al-Raqqah city after midnight of yesterday, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes between the “2 infiltrators” against “al-Raqqah Military Council and the Internal Security Forces”, at the point near al-Basel Roundabout in the city, and the clashes were accompanied by the extensive use of grenades by the infiltrators, and the Syrian Observatory learned that both of them detonated themselves with explosive belts after being surrounded by guards of the security point; after clashes lasted for more than 75 minutes, before the relative calm returned to the city amid continued alert of the al-Raqqah Military Council and “Asayish”.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 5th of October 2019 that explosion rocked al-Jerthi town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused by the explosion of a landmine while a military vehicle affiliated to the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) was passing, which resulted in the injury of 7 members with varying severity, and the SOHR published on the 4th of October 2019, that armed men believed to be of the “Islamic State” Organization blew up the “Civil Council” building of the “Syria Democratic Forces” in al-Dahla village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor after detonating it with IEDs, which caused widespread destruction in the building but no information about casualties.
