Russian warplanes target Latakia Mountains and south Idlib in conjunction with violent clashes in Sahl al-Ghab and Idlib countryside

The Russian warplanes carried out several raids after midnight of yesterday targeting Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, they also carried out 4 consecutive raids on Rakaya Sajna and the vicinity of Tahtaya town in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area, and in another context, the Islamic factions responded to an infiltration attempt carried out by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in al-Hwaiz area in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, also violent clashes took place and lasted for the morning hours; between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions, in the southern countryside of Idlib in Kafrsajna, coincided with heavy artillery shelling targeted Kafrsajna town and its vicinity, and information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory monitored military mobilization by the regime forces in areas at the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib in the front of Mdaya; northwest of Khan Shaykhun until al-Tamanah east of Khan Shaykhun, while the Islamic factions shelled positions of the regime forces in the Qal’aat Shalf in the northern countryside of Latakia, while the Islamic factions targeted positions of the regime and militiamen loyal to them in Mdaya village area in the southern countryside of Idlib with heavy artillery, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces targeted Kafrsajna, Ma’aret Hurmah, al-Amiriya, and Jabbala in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the shelling is accompanied by clashes using heavy machineguns in these areas.
