Ankara-loyal factions close the return road of the medical convoy in the vicinity of Ras al-Ayn, and the Syrian Observatory calls on the international community to intervene immediately to open the road

It seems that the Ankara-loyal factions have not only prevented the Kurdish Red Crescent convoy and an American humanitarian organization from entering Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, but they also closed the road behind them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the convoy is stuck until now on the road connecting the villages of al-Safeh and Ras al-Ayn city after closing the return road in front of them in al-Safeh village by the factions, and now the convoy cannot advance towards Ras al-Ayn or return.

Accordingly, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights calls on all concerned parties and the international community to intervene immediately, to open the road for the medical teams and evacuate the wounded and injured people, and to ensure that no massacres are committed after the road was closed and medical teams were prevented from leaving and evacuating the injured people from the clash area.

The Syrian Observatory published on Friday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a large medical convoy belongs to the Kurdish Red Crescent, consists of about 200 vehicles carrying medical materials and first aid, had set off from Tal Tamr town towards Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city; to join the convoy which has been parked since this morning at al-Mashrafa village, which is about 7 km away of Ras al-Ayn, because the Turkey-loyal factions do not allow them to pass towards the city by targeting the perimeter of the column, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Turkey-loyal factions are preventing the Kurdish Red Crescent convoy and an American humanitarian organization from passing through and reaching Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, to evacuate the wounded and injuries people there, where the factions are targeting the convoy which is parked near one of the entrances of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) from the side of Tal Tamr  town.
