The Turkish forces and the factions advance and take control of about 10 villages in Abu Rasin area (Zarkan) amid the continuation of fierce clashes against the regime forces and tens of casualties and wounded in the ranks of the both parties

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored ongoing fierce clashes in several places within the area between Tal Tamr and Ras Al-Ayn city, between the regime forces against the Turkish forces and their loyal factions, in an ongoing attack by the latter in order to cut off Abu Rasin – Tal Tamr Road, and advance into the south and east of Ras Al-Ayn city, along with heavy and violent shelling by tens of rocket shells by the Turkish forces and the factions, in addition to the Turkish drones that target the clash areas, and the SOHR learned that the pro-Turkey factions managed to achieve several advancement represented by taking control of Madba’ah, Bab Al-Khair, Jan Tamr, Tal Baydar, Abbaa, Muraykas, Tal Qartal and other positions in the area, amid continuation of the fierce clashes since early morning, while the SOHR documented more casualties in the ranks of the both parties, where it rose to 13, the number of members of the regim forces who were killed in the past hours, while the number of casualties in the ranks of the Turkey-loyal factions rose to 10, while the latter managed to capture a number of members of the regime forces, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of tens of injuries in the ranks of the both parties, some of them have seriously wounded.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on Wednesday afternoon have risen to 283. The SOHR also documented the death of 19 members of the regime forces as a result of a missile targeting by the Turkish-backed factionson the areas of north-west of Manbij and the east of Ayn Issa town in positions of the regime forces’ deployment. Meanwhile, the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes against the SDF during the same period reached 215, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 10 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battels, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border, and the number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded, some of them in serious cases.
