19050 people including about 8300 civilians -including more than 3250 children and women- killed by Russian warplanes since their military participation on Syrian territory at the end of September 2015
The Russian forces completed their 49th month of participation in the conflict in the Syrian territory, where the 1st month of the 5th year comes to add more casualties to the series of crimes denied by Russia against the Syrian people using the pretext of “fighting terrorism”, that Russia practiced against civilians, where it killed, destroyed, and displaced the people, and sponsored agreements that it let its guarantees quickly, where its shells were fatal, its missiles are destroyers, and the Russian hand was dipped in the blood of Syrians, and despite its attempt to emerge as the one coming to lay values of peace and coexistence, to appear as a dove peace, it appeared stained with the blood of the Syrian people, has killed thousands of Syrian civilians, displaced millions of them, and deserted tens of thousands without coming back, has established the stability of a country that has seen nothing in about 8 years -except war, death, murder, displacement, destruction, and clashes that have left nothing behind and squished bodies of Syrian civilians, these 4 years of Russian participation in the war on the Syrian territory have left casualties documented by the Syrian Observatory.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented during the 49th month of Russia’s military operations in Syria the killing of a man and a civilian woman affected by injuries they had in bombardment by Russian warplanes, also 26 fighters of the factions and the Jihadi groups were killed in Russian airstrikes targeted their locations in mountains of the coast and the countryside of Hama and Idlib, where the death toll reached 19046 since the start of its strikes on the 30th of September 2015 until the 30th of October 2019, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document the death of 8291 civilian citizen and they are: 1997 children under the age of eighteen, 1256 citizen women over the age of eighteen, 5038 man and young man, 5244 members of the “Islamic state” organization, and 5511 fighters of the rebel and Islamic Factions, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Islamic Turkestani Party, and fighters of Arab and foreign nationalities.
It is worth mentioning that Russia recently used the “Thermite” substance in their airstrikes, which is composed of aluminum powder and iron oxide, and causes burns because it continues to ignite for about 180 seconds, and it is inside the bombs used by Russian warplanes in recent weeks of bombing the Syrian territory, it is a cluster incendiary bombs, its type is “RBK-500 ZAB 2.5 SM” which weighs about 500 kg (about 1100 pounds) dropped by the military aircrafts, and carry small sized bombs anti-individuals and anti-vehicles of the type ((AO 2.5 RTM)), between 50 -110 small sized bombs stuffed with “Thermite”, which outpour out of it when they explode, the range of this anti-individuals and anti-vehicles bombs is between 20-30 meters.
