Widespread popular discontent within areas of the Turkey-loyal factions north of Syria after the free hand over of regime’s prisoners east of Euphrates and the “Homs al-Adiyyeh Brigade” announces its defection from the “National Army” because of the incident

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned this morning that “Homs al-Adiyyeh Brigade” which is part of the “Sultan Murad Division” faction of Factions of the Syrian National Army; announced its defection from the “National Army” and joined “Jaysh al-Izza in Hama,” reliable sources said that the faction members “will leave for al-Izza Fronts in Hama in the coming days,” and according to what the Syrian Observatory learned, the reason for this defection is differences within the ranks of the National Army as a result of handing over regime’s 18 prisoners for free, where the defected faction said: “May Allah’s curse be upon those who betray religion”

A reliable source said: “there are detainees who have been detained for 7 years and have not yet been released, but regime’s prisoners have been released in just 5 days and without anything in exchange? which provoked great anger”

The Syrian Observatory also learned that this discontent was not limited to divisions of the “National Army”, but also extended to all areas of the Syrian north controlled by the Turkey-loyal factions of “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” operations, also against the backdrop of the handing over the prisoners in exchange of nothing.
