Operation “Peace Spring” reflects negatively on people of Idlib through successive decisions by the “Rescue Government” to “reduce electricity availability time and the weight of the bread bag”

The National Rescue Government issued a decree to reduce the number of electricity service’s subscription hours in Idlib Province to 3, and at the price of 3500 Syrian pounds per amp, this is due to the high price of fuel which rose with the first day of “Peace Spring” battle, the Syrian Observatory monitored popular demonstrations in the past few days in cities and towns of Idlib province denounced practices of the Rescue Government and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and Kafr Takharim city west of Idlib witnessed repeated demonstrations against “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the Rescue Government,” and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 2nd of October 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the “Economy Ministry of the Rescue Government” issued a decision to reduce the weight of the bread bag from 900 grams to 800 grams, and the “ministry” attributed this reduction so that it does not have to raise the specified price of 200 Syrian pounds, while sources told the Syrian Observatory that this decision came after daily complaints by the “private furnaces” due to the high exchange rate of the U.S. dollar against the Syrian pound, while the prices of gasoline -which is the main operator of bakeries- and fuel in general are witnessing a significant rise, but without any reason for this rise, and according to the information received by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the process of entering fuel is running normally without any obstacles causing its rise.
