Turkey-loyal factions carry out new offensive north of Ayn Issa town trying to control Sherkrak Silos and close the international highway in the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes north of Ayn Issa town in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah in the past hours, between the Syria Democratic Forces against the Turkey-loyal factions, in a new round of attack carried out by the factions yesterday evening on Sherkrak village area and its silos, where the factions are trying to control the silos and close the international highway there, which is tens of meters away from the silos and the clashes lasted until dawn of today, accompanied by intensive exchange of shelling, in addition to targeting by the Turkish drones for the fighting areas, and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes of varying violence between the Syria Democratic Forces against Ankara-loyal factions, in areas of Mahmudiyyeh, Soda, Arisha, Abu Rasin (Zarkan), al-Qantra area, and other areas on the outskirts of Ayn Issa north of al-Raqqah city, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, and confirmed information about more casualties, in the same context, the Turkish drones continue to target sites of the Syria Democratic Forces in Arisha village south of Tal Tamr town since yesterday evening until the moment, leaving more human casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published during the past hours that the Syria Democratic forces carried out a fierce counterattack on positions that came recently under control of the Turkish forces and their loyal factions.

Sources informed SOHR that fierce clashes are underway in the village of “Aneeq Al-Hawa” of Abu Rasin town as well as Manajir town south of Ras Al-Ayn.

In conjunction with that, the pro-Turkey factions, backed by reconnaissance drones, tried to carry out an attack with the purpose of cutting off the road between Tal Tamr and Abu Rasin.

SOHR also learned that a drone targeted positions of SDF in Arisha village south of Tal Tamr town, which resulted in the injury of 10 fighters with varying severity, in addition to the destruction of their positions.
