The Minister of Health in the “Salvation Government” resigns after developments in Kafr Takharim and the demonstrations against the “Salvation Government” and “Tahrir Al-Sham”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources, that the Minister of Health in the “Salvation Government” resigned today without revealing the reasons for doing so.

It is noteworthy that the resigned minister assumed the ministerial portfolio in 2017.

The cities and towns of the areas that are under control of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham witnessed several demonstrations called for the toppling of the “Salvation Government” and accused it of clamping down on the citizens in its areas of influence, and imposing royalties and taxes without providing services in return.

SOHR published hours ago, that civic parties and popular local groups, issued statements today condemning the violations of “Tahrir Al-Sham and in solidarity with Kafr Takharim town, they also confirmed that they do not recognize the Salvation Government and its decrees.

The statement was issued on behalf of the locals of Kafruma, Hass, Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Saraqib and Killi in Idlib province.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a mass demonstration got out in Idlib city towards Kafr Takharim today afternoon, but Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham prevented the demonstrators from reaching the town and sent them back at the checkpoint of Armanaz city.
