Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: with the rise of activities of the “Islamic State” Organization’s cells within the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas east of Euphrates, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that gunmen attacked the house of one of the citizens in al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and according to the Syrian Observatory’s information, cells of the “Islamic State” Organization stopped the citizen a few days ago and blackmailed him to pay $10000 USD as “zakat”, as they described it, but he refused to pay it, so they opened fire on his house yesterday evening, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 6th of November 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that unidentified gunmen threw an IED without a fuse, on the house of a doctor in Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while a paper was found with a phone number on it, and they asked him to pay 10000 USD, blackmail incidents are growing with the purpose of collecting money in the shadow of the spreading of the “Islamic State” organization’s cells.
