About 5 members of the regime’s intelligence were killed or injured in targeting to a checkpoint of the political security in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources, that a member of the regime forces was killed and 3 others were injured as a result of targeting one of the checkpoints of the political security, in Kafr Batna town in the Eastern Ghouta in Rif Dimashq, by an IED planted by unidentified gunmen.

According to information obtained by SOHR; the regime forces put on the alert at their security checkpoints in the area and blocked all the ways to the area of targeted checkpoint, they also closed all the shops in the area and the citizens stayed at homes amid a state of panic, because of being the first incident in which the regime forces to be targeted in a populated area since the regime forces imposed their control over the Eastern Ghouta.

SOHR published yesterday evening that a loud explosion was heard this evening in Kfarbatna town of Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside. According to sources of the SOHR, the explosion was caused by an explosive device thrown by unknown persons at one of the checkpoints of the Political Security in the vicinity of the town, amid confirmed information about injuries among the elements at the checkpoint.
