Anticipation in al-Darbasiyah area for a new joint patrol between the Turkish and Russian Forces as part of “Putin – Erdogan” agreement

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information about starting a joint Russian – Turkish patrol today, Monday, the 11th of November 2019, and according to the Observatory’s information, the patrol will roam Darbasiyah countryside area for the second time after the first patrol that roamed Darbasiyah countryside and Amuda this month, while the Syrian Observatory published on Sunday that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that 5 Russian military vehicles arrived today morning in Al-Darbasiyah, where 3 of them left to the west of Al-Darbasiyah via the road to Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye).

The patrol reached Sherik village where they met there with the Turkish forces, without information about what was going on, sources of the Syrian Observatory said that the Russian patrol returned to Delek village which is located at a distance of 11 km west of Al-Darbasiyah, the sources added “the 2 other vehicles entered via the road to Al-Hasakah, towards the southern countryside of Al-Darbasiyah city, where they carry out tours there as if they are searching for something, check out every thing, and their movements are not normal.
