4 members of the security forces including an officer were killed in armed clash against the locals of Talbiseh in Homs countryside

The Syrian observatory for human Rights monitored clashes by light weapons today afternoon, in Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs, between a group of city’s people on one hand, and the Political Security Branch that is loyal to the Iranian militias on the other, which resulted in the killing of an officer and 3 members of the latter, in addition to the presence of injuries in the ranks of both parties.

Reliable sources informed SOHR that the clashes erupted after security members had raided the house of a wanted person, where the people of Talbiseh stood together with the wanted person which developed to armed clashes.

SOHR published in early November, that unidentified gunmen assassinated a former leader of opposition factions in Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs.

According to the Syrian Observatory’s information, the unidentified gunmen shot at former leader of “Jaysh al-Tawhid” faction which used to be active in the northern countryside of Homs when the factions controlled the area, and the assassination took place in front of his house and caused his immediate death.

It is worth mentioning that the leader is one of the most prominent figures who made “reconciliations and settlements” in the northern countryside of Homs, where he contributed in delivering a large number of young people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches.
