A Kurdish woman suffers a heart attack after an Ankara-backed faction cuts down her trees in Kafr Janna village in Afrin countryside

The Turkish-backed factions of the so-called “National Army” continue cutting down olive trees in several villages of Afrin northwest of Aleppo, in light of the increased demand for firewood due to the fuel crisis that is ravaging the areas controlled by the factions, and in this context, reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that gunmen of “al-Shamiyyah Front” faction cut down about 200 olive trees belong to an elderly woman in Kafr Janna village in Afrin countryside, which caused the woman to have a heart attack as a result of her shock after losing her only livelihood.
