Russian soldiers Injured in an explosion targeted a scouting patrol in the countryside of Ayn Al-Arab city (Kobani)

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an IED explosion while a Russian scouting patrol passing in the countryside of Ayn Al-Arab city (Kobani).

The explosion resulted in the injury of 3 Russian soldiers as well as causing damage to  military vehicles, where the patrol was scouting villages in Ayn Al-Arab for the purpose of running an anticipated joint patrol between the Russian forces and Turkish forces.

SOHR published on 30th of November 2019, that the Russian forces and their Turkish counterpart have accomplished the 12th joint patrol within the Syrian North since such patrols started to be launched in early November, where the today’s patrol roamed in villages located between Al-Qamishly countryside and Al-Malikiyah (Dayrik) at the Syrian – Turkish border.

The patrol included 4 Turkish military vehicles and 4 Russian ones, escorted by drones.
