The regime forces regain control of all areas which factions and jihadi groups advanced into in 4 days of hit-and-run battles in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib

Fierce battles are still continuing between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the other, in several areas in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib amid continued bombardment by the regime and Russian warplanes.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that the regime forces managed to regain control of Ras Al-War and Istablat hours after they recovered Saruj.

Thus, the regime recovered all the areas which factions advanced into in the past 4 days within hit-and-run battles south-east of Idlib.

SOHR documented the killing of 9 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the clashes since after midnight, while 23 fighters of the factions were killed including 18 jihadists.

Between November 30 and today morning, SOHR documented at least 134 casualties in the ranks of both parties who were killed in the fierce hit-and-run battles in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.

In connection to this, helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Hass, the vicinity of Maar Zita, Kafr Nubl and Hish south of Idlib.

Meanwhile, warplanes carried out several raids on Al-Ghassaniyyah, Sheikh Sndian, Al-Kandah, Maraand, Kafr Din and Kabani in both western countryside of Idlib and northern countryside of Latakia.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 720, the number of people who were killed since the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 2nd of December 2019, and they are: 185 civilians including 47 children and 36 citizen women, and they are 80 including 25 children and 13 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 3 were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 30 including 3 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 61 people including 15 women and 15 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 11 citizens including 4 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 259 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 169 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 276 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 4821, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 3rd of December 2019, and they are: 1230 civilians including 307 children and 222 citizen women, and they are 305 including 69 children and 56 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 91 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 567 including 157 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 175 people including 35 women and 36 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 91 citizens including 30 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1924 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1256 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1667 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 3rd of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5347 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1513 civilians including 388 children under the age of eighteen and 286 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 117 people including 33 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2010 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1288 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1824 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5581 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1596 civilians including 417 children and 300 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 118 people including 33 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2077 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1392 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1908 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
