The regime and Russian warplanes target Idlib province with tens of airstrikes since morning leaving a number of citizens dead and wounded and others trapped under debris

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of a citizen woman due to barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Abdita village in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, where rescue teams are continuing to pull people from underneath the rubble.

In connection to this, the province of Idlib is witnessing escalation of aerial bombardment by the regime and Russian warplanes since morning, where it rose to 12, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on places in Al-Bara, Kafr Nubl, Kura, Sahal and Al-Halbeh.

Also it rose to 14, the number of barrel bombs dropped by the regime’s helicopters on Al-Bara, Kafr Nubl, Ahsen, Hass, Abdita and Hazarin.

Meanwhile, the regime’s warplanes carried out several raids on Karsaa, Hazarin, Kherbat Barnan, Farawan, Al-Barsah and the Abandoned Battalion.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 767, the number of people who were killed since the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of December 2019, and they are: 201 civilians including 53 children and 41 citizen women, and they are 87 including 27 children and 14 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 7 were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 31 including 4 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 64 people including 16 women and 16 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 12 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 276 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 181 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 290 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 4868, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of December 2019, and they are: 1246 civilians including 313 children and 227 citizen women, and they are 313 including 71 children and 57 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 95 including 21 women and 16 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 568 including 158 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 178 people including 36 women and 37 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 92 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1941 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1268 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1681 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 7th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5394 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1529 civilians including 394 children under the age of eighteen and 289 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 118 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2027 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1300 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1838 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5628 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1612 civilians including 423 children and 305 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 119 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2094 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1404 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1922 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
